Tutorial Tuesday : What will you learn today?

Hi! You loved Tutorial Tuesday last week so I have it again this week… I keep finding some great little projects!

I painted the pots (shown in last week’s post). They look great and were really easy. I didn’t get to pot them in time for today’s post so I will share the finished product next week, but here’s a sneak peak…

What a cute and fresh idea! Turn any old can, vase or jar into a table centrepiece. I personally love the geometric ones on the top. You can easily do this with scrapbook paper and some mod podge. Here’s the tutorial.

DIY Polka-dot Feature Wall

How cute is this? I love anything polka-dots. I thought this was such a cool idea for an office, craft room or little girls room.

How to cover a lampshade

I am always covering and recovering my lampshades. It’s so easy and gives your room a whole new look. I can do one in about 20 minutes whilst cooking dinner. My kids think I am nuts, but when I am on a mission I can’t stop. Here’s the tutorial. No sewing, or matching patterns up. Here is a great shop to buy fabric from. 1 yard will easily do 2-3 regular lampshades.

DIY Nail Art

I love a bit of nail art and I’m not sick of it yet. I am lazy though, so I could never do anything freehand! I spotted this and it looked so easy. Just use pieces of sticky tape!

Glitter Dipped Feathers

Everything just looks better with glitter on it doesn’t it? I loved these! I might dip some too and sit them in a little glass vase. Here’s the tutorial.

Tyre Ottoman

You can make these? Huh? I saw this and couldn’t believe it was this easy! Check it out here.

DIY Hair Mask

Does your hair need a little bit of extra love? Here are a few recipes for all different hair types – thin, damaged, dry, dandruff… I need lots of moisture in my hair!

Here’s some DIY wall art for boys

Here’s how to make a Facebook Cover Photo

Don’t forget to let me know if you’ve done a great tutorial! Someone suggested a linky? Maybe I could set that up one week and you can add your tutorials in there.

Have a great day! X
