Quotes to embrace change

Usually I am not in to quotes (unless they are funny or sarcastic!). I can generally take them or leave them. But every now and I then I see a few and lock them away in my memory. I might see one I really resonate with and read it a few times to give myself …

Usually I am not in to quotes (unless they are funny or sarcastic!). I can generally take them or leave them. But every now and I then I see a few and lock them away in my memory. I might see one I really resonate with and read it a few times to give myself a little buzz, a bit of love…

I have stopped looking at change as scary. I used to. But not anymore. I’ve had a rough trot these past few years and you have no idea how this has changed my life. And for the better. I feel like I could run to the top of a mountain every single day. I wake super early (like 4am!), but I am bouncing to get out of bed each day.

All it took to feel so much better, was to make a change. To get rid of the problems overwhelming me each day. I look back now and think I can’t believe it was that simple!

I have a friend who is about to make some changes in her life, and it’s scary, but it’s for the better. Maybe you’re in the same boat? Looking ahead at something and think it’s just too hard, or maybe you’re forced to do something new and don’t think you can?? I feel like you can.

Change means to “make or become different.” This translates to leaving behind old habits, thoughts, feelings, people and activities. But if you’re not going to make the change then the opposite would be to “maintain something in its original or existing state.” And that’s being stale. It’s not progressing or moving forward is it? I’m getting a little deep here today! Ha.

I want to encourage you to just think today “what could I change to make things better?” Even if it’s just something small to start with? Or maybe you’re brave enough to think yes, I’m going to make a big change and see where it goes?? It could simply mean changing some eating habits, driving a different way to work today (just because the new scenery breaks your flow and that’s good!), or maybe you need to think about a new job – new income?

Change is not bad. I have some quotes below. You might resonate with a few of them? I even made one in to a phone wallpaper you can download (save the image to your phone and upload as wallpaper). I’ve added a blank one too, so you can add your own quote. Save the photo and use the app FONT CANDY to add your own text.

Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realise that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge. – Eckhart Tolle

Don’t call it uncertainty; call it wonder. Don’t call it insecurity; call it freedom. – Osho

Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won’t have a title until much later. – Bob Goff

You’re always one decision away from a totally different life. – Mark Batterson

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. – Alan Watts

It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change. – Charles Darwin

I think the growth of the brain is a slow process. But you do change and the more you accept change and embrace change, the better. – Diane Keaton

You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. – Brian Tracy

A good place to start with change is to write a list – of the things you hope for, and then the things you need to get rid of. Just start! 🙂

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and today is good to you. ♥ KC.
