9 room divider ideas

If you have a really open space in your home and you want a great room divider, then today I have a few ideas to show you. Sometimes there can be too much open space, or your room needs a boundary or you’d like to create a new feature without blocking the light or a view.

There are a few different ways you can divide your space up instead of building a regular wall…

Create a floating gallery wall. I love this. It’s functional and looks great.

Build your own ladder wall. This is a good idea if you don’t want to completely shut the space off.

Similar to the photo above, but a little more modern.

Slats, or pallets have divided this bedroom at both ends. This is a good idea if you have a very long narrow room.

Use an old set of doors. This is so cute!

Use bookshelves to create a small office nook.

A bookshelf divides a dining and a lounge room. You can put all your precious trinkets here instead of a sideboard.

This is a good way to separate the bedroom from a lounge room if you’re in a small area.
