A wall light or sconce can make a nice addition to a room, hallway or entry. Use them as bedside lamps too. We used a big one in my son’s room recently.

The height in where you place them is up to you. Mostly they are positioned 150-170cm high from the ground. But if you’re using them next to your bed you’ll just need to decide on what feels comfortable for your reading.
Some can have cords you just just plugin and use as a DIY. You can simply just mount to the wall yourself then. Others will need electrical wiring.
