Today I wanted to introduce you to the new ‘Mediterranean Deli’ range by Always Fresh, a collection of authentic antipasto mixes. We’ve been trialling them at home and I can honestly say these goodies are delicious. This range includes traditional favourite antipasto mixes which have been thoughtfully produced in regions within Greece and Italy. They look amazing on the plate too.

My favourite would have to be the Sundried Tomatoes and the Chilli Olives. You can see the full range here.

I made this platter up on the weekend and took to a friend’s house to share around and enjoy.

Meat meat meat! Nothing beats thin slices of lightly cooked beef on a platter

Pickles and anchovies, because if my family won’t let me put them on pizza, I can at least put them on a platter, right?!?!

My platter would have Camembert, blue and cheddar cheeses, Olives, dried tomatoes prosciutto and a plain cracker so as not to overwhelm the beautiful flavours in my selection

I make a hazelnut and macadamia dessert dip. People always comment about how delicious it is. A welcome change to add to platters, perfect for fruit to be dipped,

I love to add olives with the pips in to my hors d’oeuvres platter. There’s always a bit of fun to be had in throwing the pips over the railing into the bush and seeing who’s goes the farthest!

Hubby and i stumbled across a ‘reduced’ price Brie with cranberries…something different but totally sublime! At $70 a kilo original price, our platter looked fit for a king that night! For a normal night of nibbles…olives are a must!
