When you’ve got a lot of decorating to do in your house, the easiest room to start with is the bedroom! I work with Kellie and she moved in to her new house about 18 months ago and wanted me to help her get some decorating finished.

This room had good bones already. It’s light and bright with plantation shutters. She already owned the bed, bedside tables, a good set of sheets and doona cover. She just needed the finishing touches. I told her no more Euros. They never sit right, don’t fill the bed and the shape is wrong for a King bed.

So, over the past 4 weeks or so I’ve been nudging her to buy a few bits here and there to finish it all off.

And if you’re preparing your house for sale, then these little finishing touches will also add to the overall appeal of your home.

Watch me go to work here transforming the room!

Doesn’t it look good now!?

Let me tell you where all the goodies are from so you can style up your own bedroom.
