My god my lounge room needs some help asap! Its got awesome ‘bones’ (to get all fancy) but i’m crap at textiles and picking a new lounge, and deciding on furniture placement that doesnt make the room look like a toy shop!

Gosh, my lounge room is in desperate need of some TLC. After moving in to our dream home, I have struggled as how to set our lounge/living space. Especially what to do with our media equipment. So as a result we haven’t done anything for the last 2 years, please help us 🙂

My open plan lounge/kitchen/dining. After renovating 8 years ago & 4 kids later it’s still half empty with mis-matched furniture!! I don’t know where to start!!

I’m in desperate need of help in my lounge room. It’s reasonably new but lacking warmth. No matter what colours or textures I add I just can’t seem to make the room look cosy and welcoming. I need help badly. It’s “my space” where I retreat kid free and it’s just not what I had imaged for my space. Please help!

Our living room is in desperate need of help… I’ve been deliberating for years over the best way to position the furniture before I take the step of ordering custom cabinetry, but I am still so undecided! I want this room to really be the focal point of our house, especially with our built in fireplace which is in need of cabinetry/shelving. This room also needs warmth and character added through soft furnishings.

What an awesome idea, didn’t know this existed. We definitely need some help with our lounge room. It’s the hub of our home, we spend the most time there yet it’s totally lacking in….everything. It’s just plain boring and I don’t know where to start!

I need help with my open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. It is boring and bland and black and white and I need to introduce some colour with rugs and cushions and maybe a new lounge. I go out shopping and see beautiful furniture and accessories and always wonder if it would look ok and then doubt my choices and then find myself so overwhelmed that I walk away empty handed. I have come to the conclusion that I don’t have a stylish bone in my body and am in desperate need of help!

Our lounge room with a combustion wood heater on one wall and a wall of windows with vertical blinds (yuk) has me stumped on how to restyle it!

Most of the rooms need a good redress but first and foremost the lounge-room as its where we all congregate and visitors see straight after entering the home

My daughters nursery. It currently looks like a shoe cupboard/Kennards storage/Transformer robots display room.

My bedroom is small for a Master bedroom – I have moved the furniture around to try and make it appear larger. I would love to see your opinion on what I can do to make it seem more spacious!

Bedroom. It looks way too much like a teeny boppers room with posters and junk. Still haven’t grown out of the 90’s!

My enclosed balcony/sun room is a beautiful large and bright room in need of a good makeover to fit in with the rest of our newly renovated 3 bedroom apartment.

My entry. I inherited a beautiful jarrah dresser that my Grandfather cleverly made (in a wheelchair and all). It’s very dark next to my white double doors. I have white cupboards and doorframes throughout the house so it looks quite heavy. Both my mum and MIL have told me there’s NO WAY I’m allowed to paint it white to match in. So I need to dress it up/decorate it, to match in well with my modern farmhouse look. It really is divine, it just looks out of place at the moment. Hoping you can help me with a much needed vision x
