Last week I saw a lady selling a few vases/vessels on Facebook Marketplace and I grabbed the lot for $10. I knew I could quickly transform them to sit on a shelf in my home. This was such a simple DIY project and took no time at all.
HOW TO
- Grab a can of Rust-Oleum Chalked Ultra-Matt Paint in Linen White from Bunnings.
- No special prep needed. Lay the vases outside on a towel and give them a light spray. Don’t go too close or too thick because it will drip and run.
- Repeat 3-4 times until you get good coverage.
- Tip – while the paint says it’s good for ceramic surfaces you need to be realistic in that it could chip/scratch if you are rough with their use when finished. Basically, they will look good!
That’s an easy Sunday afternoon project for you! You could do this to any pot or vase. Any size too!
You might like this easy before and after project too I completed on a sideboard.
