Tomorrow is ma birfday and husband, kids are I are off to The Block for a few days. We are also bringing the band back together and all of the gang are going to the Umbrella Ball as a guest of Channel 9. Fancy schmancy! What do I wear??
Amie and I and Polly and Waz are doing a shoot for TV Week on Saturday and then all of my block neighbours are getting makeover’s for a different TV Week shoot. So there is lots of good things about being on tv!
I can’t wait to see the rest of my block neighbours! If you’re near the block, let me know and I can pop my head out of the door and say hello.

I don't get it! The negativity that is. To me, all the contestants come across as lovely people. Yes the program is manipulating the footage to create story lines(as you would expect) I think you and Amie come across as strong,lovely,loved and fun people. Yes, there is a vulnerability about you( thank goodness) but your strength, dignity and humor compensates for that. I haven't loved all your design ideas and I have had a bit of a giggle at some things you girls have said( often you guys say exactly what I was thinking!) but I am loving watching your journey.PS: that builder illustrated exactly what kind of person he is : 'a goose, is probably the most polite term I can think of! The only criticism I have of the show is the choice of judges. I know their credentials but they appear not to be in touch with the design styles of today.

Was very annoyed watching last nights show – there is a lot of blatent sexism being displayed towards you guys…doesn't do the tradesmen any favours when they look like they're bullying and intimidating you girls (even though I can see you can handle yourself)….poor form!
