This week was a bit of a blur… kids activities have had me running from one thing to the next. You know when you can’t really remember the days, but you just know they’ve been busy? I said to my husband last night “this time last week we were on a cruise ship!” Couldn’t believe it was a week ago. Time flies!

I have a 12 year child who is achieving some great sporting things at the moment. So sometimes it feels like it’s all about him. If you have kids around this age, you’ll know what I mean when I say “the age of 12 is when lots of things happen.” The other kids will be screaming up behind him soon! My middle kid is having a birthday on Monday and he will be 9! Woah! So, then before I know it, I’ll be running him around with all the sporting opportunities! For now, my other 2 kids don’t have the chance to play rep sport, school carnivals etc. But I can see why people with teenagers suddenly say they are just a taxi! It’s just started for me!

Last night we were at a cricket presentation where my big boy got best batsman. Today we’re off to Albury for rep rugby league. Tomorrow my middle kidlet is having his birthday party at laser tag…

Big deep breath Katrina! See you next week some time… ♥ KC.

Ah yes; the tween years…my son is unfortunately not blessed with a sporting prowess gene so I have avoided this with him but I definitely empathise! Congrats on your son’s achievements though. It is so healthy both physically and self-esteem wise at this age. x KL
