We’re all a little cray cray for Instagram aren’t we? Well I am! I always have my phone nearby to snap photos when I can. That social media platform is so inspiring and uplifting. People are so darn clever on it! Recently, I teamed up with PhotoBox to try out a few of their products using my own Instagram photos. It’s too easy to forget about the hard-copy of a photo when you just click and send to an account via your phone – and if you’re like me and take lots of photos – those memories just get pushed further and further down your Instagram feed.
I got to work shopping on their website…
Below is a very precious and sentimental piece and I am so happy to have this photo now on canvas in my home. My mother-in-law passed away a couple of months ago and it was a heart wrenching day… but out of the despair, I captured this photo when all the grandchildren let balloons go just after the service. Although the tears were flowing, we all still smile at this canvas because it was such a lovely memory. I surprised my husband and didn’t tell him until it arrived. His face was priceless.
I take a lot of photos of sunrises and sunsets! I can’t get enough of them. I decided to get them printed into Retro Prints. They come in little packs of 12, 24 or 36. The level of detail that goes in to creating these prints ensures that they have all the charm and features of real Retro Prints. You can even have the text printed for you under each photo, or write on them yourself when you get them home. I decided to peg them on to a piece of string and I hung them in my laundry. We walk through the laundry from the garage into the house. I have a big space in there with a chalkboard wall, so they look great!
I wanted to spruce up my ‘work’ goodies. So a new mousepad and iPhone case was needed. They have turned out amazing. The mousepad displays a photo I took of flowers I styled up. The iPhone case is so good! I took this photo on the way home from a footy trip. It’s of the canola fields towards the end of Winter. I got a tough case with a matt finish.
To get your own memories and fun photos printed up, jump on to PhotoBox‘s website, sign up and you can easily link your Instagram/Facebook accounts and create photo memories in a matter of minutes. Any of these goodies would make a fab and affordable Christmas present.
Happy shopping. ♥ KC.
