I am freaking out!

Ummmm….. I am in denial but my house SOLD yesterday! OMG! Yes it was a plan in the back of my mind and a part of the ‘simplifying life’ thingy, but I am sorta not ready for it.

Want to know the BEST bit? “Vacant possession by 22nd December”…. did you see that date?? That means I really have to move in 2 weeks as we have lots on leading up to Christmas!

Where am I going to go? Anyone got a few spare rooms for a family of 5? Just kidding! Today I am spending the day looking for something to rent.

Congratulations Katrina! Nothing like cramming everything in before Christmas. However, that means that after Christmas, things will be simple and you can breathe out.

Katrina!!!! I feel ya Sista! I did the very same settlement just a mere 3 years ago….Problem was unlike you who declutters regularly I had so much crap to sort before I could even pack to move and was breastfeeding a Baby with the other 2 under 4!
You are a Star! You will rock N roll your way through it In Hurricain Katrina style!

Oh Wowser….alot on your plate…but all positive and exciting sweety…onwards and upwards!! You always take on the "can do" attitude with positivity and optimism ..so this will be no different honey..as sad as it will be to say goodbye to an old home ( and honestly..that would be hard for me) focus on the new adventure ahead…and more design and decorating!! YAY…congrats sweety…hope you find something soon x

I missed something somewhere where you weren't going to sell but decided not to build…..I have definitely missed something in the middle. So a big congratulations to you and OMG 22 Dec OMG….are you freaking out a little.
I have to say you are so organised that if anyone can do it and be settled straight up its you. Its all the pre planning going into it that makes it work.
We have a rental over here if you don't mind the commute.;)
So with all this in mind, I am voting to keep hair do number 1 so you can tie it back when moving.
New house, new do. I would book in for Dec 24.
    So exciting.

Moving house really is exciting & nauseating all at the same time. I hope it all runs smoothly for you.

Wow, good job on the sale but the date would freak me out too! It's a stressful enough time let alone having to move. I hope you find something soon, Kathryn.XX
P.S. does your sister with that big house live near you? hint, hint.,
