Hello! Welcome to another edition of Floor Plan Friday! Today I have a floor plan suited for a rural or semi-rural block which takes in any views you might have. You can see from the above photo there is an amazing free-form living area with huge windows. This home is 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with an office, parents retreat and activity room. The pitch on the ceiling in the living/entertaining would be spectacular! Click on the floor plan images below to enlarge them and take a better look.

I will spend 2 hours looking over your plan and email back a detailed list of suggestions for changes. I can’t guarantee changes will be needed as your plan may already be perfect in my eyes. But for peace of mind I can either list some suggestions, or let you know how jealous I am of your soon-to-be new home.

The free form living room looks fantastic and particularly in the photo – however for a home of this magnitude I was really disappointed with the kitchen – it is tiny!
I am not sure whether it is just me and being used to good sized bedrooms but I find the bedrooms to be on the smaller size 2.7m seems a bit narrow – I would definitely prefer at least 3 but 3.3m would be even better.
Overall a lovely looking home – now just to furnish such a long living room to take advantage of such a great space.

A “free form living” room – that’s waaaaaay too much for me. My “free form living” room is the back yard. x

The house is designed for the WA heat but I like look and feel but personally its too big and the kitchen is small, if you like this style have a look at the country house by mcdonald jones, when I first dreamed of building a rurual home, this house was the firfirstcame accross that I love the look of.
