I get asked all the time how much should I use?? Remember essential oils are very concentrated, so you don’t need a lot! Here’s a guide which might help you sort out your blends. This is the safest and recommended amount. You’d only use more if you had an acute issue you were dealing with and had safely read about the oil and its uses. Please refer to this site for safe usage too.

A couple of extra things –

  • Use glass bottles to store blends – to avoid deterioration and protect the aromatic and therapeutic properties of your essential oils
  • Top with fractionated coconut oil
  • You can also top up using water (bottled is best)
  • Add witch hazel water (use same amount equal to the oils you’re using) bought from supermarket – it’s a type of soluble and will combine water and oil to make the scent last longer).

If you’d like to know how to buy essential oils head here.
