My girlfriend got me hooked on these a few years ago… I LOVE candle snuffers. Here are a few. I have a whole box of them somewhere in the garage which I won’t unpack whilst in this house as there is no space for them. One of them has the cutest crystal attached to the end. Oh and yes, my boys think they are weapons and will smack each other over head with them sometimes!
PS. Thanks for all your nice words yesterday on here and on twitter…today is a better day! One is in daycare, so the house is quieter. I think I snored last night, I was so tired.

Aren't they cute! I have one locally made one and of course never think to actually use it 🙂
    Have a lovely weekend!

These are wonderful and I've never thought to collect them.
I have a lovely large forged iron number with a smooth wooden handle which feels like many hands have held it through the eons.

For me the lovelies thing is the way the candle smoke wafts out after it has snuffed the flame.

PS So glad you're having a better day.
Not sure if you have the energy or if your boys are into baking biscuits [a bit like playing with playdough except you really can eat them] but thought I'd mention that I'm posting a super-easy recipe tomorrow that they may have fun using cutters on, rolling into superheroes or simply decorating – just a thought.

Are they really called candle snuffers. I hope so – because it sounds so wonderful.
