If you’re building a new kitchen, renovating, or just have a space which could use a little DIY update – then open shelves might be for you? I know this trend really started coming to light in 2014, but as I look around interior design mags and online I am still seeing the open shelf pop up in kitchens. What do you think about them?
If you stick to styling them using the same tones and palette, then this could really work as a feature piece in your home. Keep it simple and think about the height of your items. Make sure all the goodies are similar. Also, don’t be afraid of white space! You don’t have to fill every part of the shelf.
