Floor Plan Friday: Perfect for a rural setting

Hi there! Welcome back to Floor Plan Friday – my weekly series where I show you my floor plan pick of the week. Today I have this family home which is perfect for an acreage lot to take advantage of a beautiful rural setting. The home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, WIP, study, 2 living areas plus a media room.

What I like about this plan is how you walk straight from the garage into the kitchen. Perfect for when you have lots of shopping. The 3 way bathroom is great also and I think a necessity for families. Also it has lots of rooms that could have a multitude of uses!

I think I would change the rear of the house to make it more open. Remove the wall between the lounge and dining to really let the light in and take advantage of the views. You could move the media room to the family room and turn the media room into a play room for the kids. The plan is quite versatile easy to modify!
