It’s been a wet and cold few months here in Wagga. I have spent too much time inside and on the computer. There’s not much else to do! I need a change desperately. So I started to write a list of all the things I can look forward to… This is knowing that the warm weather and longer days are just around the corner…
Green grass
Cricket on tv (yes I love it!)
French Onion dip on Sunday afternoons (I am so 80s!)
Swimming on dusk
Walking in the sunshine
The sound of the fan at night
Windows open
Ice cubes
No socks
Half the amount of washing
Outside eating
Longer days
DIY projects
October long weekend
Going without a scarf
Summer photos of the sky

(It’s been really wet here where I am in NZ too):
* The aroma of freshly cut grass
* Driving to work, and back home again, in the daylight rather than dark <—— especially this one
* Not having to fill up and lug the firewood baskets in every night
* BBQs!
* Spending more time outdoors in the garden
* The positivity that the warmer months seem to bring π

Funny! It really annoys my husband that I love it so much!

I am quite the freak – I love winter! I love scarves and coats and boots and doonas and hot coffee… π Having said that, I also love blue skies and after today’s rain in Sydney that is something to look forward to. As is drying washing in the sunshine.

I do much prefer the Winter fashion though π

Ah the sound of the fan at night – YES! Also hanging for the sound of cicadas, the smell of gardenia blooms and lazy beach afternoons followed by BBQ’s with good friends. Bring on summer! And totally not going to miss dressing two messy toddlers in endless layers of winter clothes and the subsequent washing… Winter be gone!
Katrina
Bring it on! Can’t wait π

Just about ready for the OFF to London, so looking forward to long catch ups with friends and all the silliness that will bring.
