I could be pregnant again and again

I could be pregnant over and over. I really could. But I'm not - please don't get excited! This is just a post about loving the time when I was pregnant :) I truly loved it. As my babies grow up, I like to look back on the early days when I was pregnant. I was healthier …

I truly loved it.

As my babies grow up, I like to look back on the early days when I was pregnant. I was healthier than ever (crohns disease was banished) and the excitement of a baby was the best time of my life. I wasn’t sick at all. Although, I did put on 28kg with my first due to some lovely fluid!

♥ I loved finding out I was pregnant.

♥ I loved the doctors appointments.

♥ I loved the attention.

♥ I loved picking names.

♥ I loved wondering if today will be the day?

♥ I loved being in hospital. I was proud and so happy.

♥ I love how an entire family comes together when there is a new born baby.

♥ I love seeing pregnant people.

♥ I love being around pregnant people.

BUT, I’m over babies! Ha! There are too many things that I DON’T miss 😉

Is that weird?

Oh goodness, I just saw ‘I could be pregnant’.. and read no further… before heading straight on over! Ha! It was a special time wasn’t it. Seems like forever ago for me. I was just saying the other day to my SIL who has a new baby, as the years pass, you forget the little details. I have forgotten what it was like to change one nappy.. and I changed approx 6000 of them, I worked out (you would have changed 9000). The little details of every moment, you share with your babies, fade as they become robust young men. I remember dying to know what my first born’s little voice would sound like… now I can’t remember his first voice…. especially now that it is getting deeper and deeper! Holding onto every moment now. Stop growing up boys! A-M xx

Yes I feel the same …
    I loved being pregnant.
Loved welcoming these new little people in our family.
But decided to stop at number 7 – which I do regret.
I too am over babies these days…
Love spending time with my nieces but glad to had them back when they are screaming for a feed etc…

Our kids grow way too fast these days….
Can we make them slow down – if just for a little while?

I loved this blog, I think the way lots of mums feel, I loved it (pregnacy) also but am so not going there again. I remember the feeling I had when I gave birth to my gorgeous boy and how proud, now he is nearly 15 and a big stapping lad, still proud. Then came our daughter, didn’t I think I was smart then, one of each, but above all, they were perfect, so precious and beautiful, they still are just in larger version.

Oh my goodness, I can’t even fathom feeling like that! I’m 10 weeks with my 4th in (4 1/2 years) feel so sick I could die. I get hyperesmesis when I’m pregnant (severe morning sickness) & I’m so weak I haven’t been out of bed in 4 weeks (except to use the bathroom). This is our last baby & the next 6 months will br torture. If only surrogacy was legal, you could have carried it for me! 🙂

Oh no, that’s awful! I hope it passes soon. I laughed at the surrogacy!

It’s lovely that you have so many fond memories of being pregnant. Are you sure you may not venture there again?!?! Ange

Oh Love…thats great that you have those memories..and I think it was good that you popped them out when you were still a spring chicken…but as you get older…being pregnant aint as much fun….this pregnancy I have noticed is very different from the one I had with Jacq 3 years ago..being closer to 40 the old bones and hormones cant take it as well as they did when I was preggas with Jacq…when I was pregnant with my first…I was ontop of the world..had a huge amount of energy and even now I always tell people that the healthiest I ever looked and felt was when I was pregnant with Jacq. But No 2 is different..surprisingly…health wise things are great…but had a few scares in the beginning..and I am struggling more with carrying bubs…the back aches and pains are unbearable at times…other than that I could have asked for a better pregnancy…but am more than ready to meet this little guy.

I can totally relate…loved it all until 27weeks and then it all went to hell in a handbasket (physically)…but I totally get your sentiments as I’m sooooo not going there again either 🙂
Thanks again for spinning your magic on my blog header…you’re awesome!!!

I’m glad you loved being pregnant but I found it to be the hardest 9 months of my life. Just so hot and I put on so much weight that I just hated myself. One good thing was I ended up with a beautiful, caring daughter.

Me too!!! I was very lucky to have two fabulous pregnancies and I felt healthy and wonderful for both. A few aches and pains second time around, but just loved being pregnant, and the appointments and all those things. I even liked the stuff you had to drink for the glucose test – apparently I am very weird! Thanks for sharing 🙂

If I could have a football team (i.e. if my husband let me) I would definitely do it. Could add another 15 things to your list Treens. Its such a shame that its something that we don’t get to do very often in life.

    SPOT ON!
i loved every minute of all three too! but when you walk in that hospital door and that thought goes through your mind of “what was i thinking”
all worth it though in those first moments of life when you hold them for the first time.
    Pen 🙂

Hi Holly, I got pregnant with both 1 and 2 when sick. Best thing I ever did in hindsight. The pregnancy made me well all of a sudden. As long as you’re on ok medication and Doctor thinks it’s ok, then go for it. But I guess every case is different. I was very lucky. Hope you are ok though?

See your doctor and I agree lol. If you are a surrogate you could have all the benefits of being pregnant without having to do the child raising part that you are over. The perfect solution really – rofl:)
Hope the Crohns gets better this year lovely <3
