For me it’s my Dad.
What do you buy a person who has everything and wants nothing? My friend said one year she was so desperate she bought her Dad a laminator machine. She said “I’ve got visions….. Laminating photos, winning TAB tickets, locks of hair, newspaper articles, home-made ‘slippery when wet’ signs………..lol!!!” Gee I laughed.
So I asked my brother if he knew if Dad had one? His answer, “Yep, and he laminates everything in sight.” So I’ve knocked that on the head.
Another person suggested a cooking class…. Hmmmm I like the idea, but not sure if he would.
So, c’mon gang, tell me what do you buy your Dad for Christmas??
Little bit of Christmas cheer – Amie and I in 1982.
Today is officially the 1st day of the school holidays. It’s raining of course. More movie watching and playing lego I think.
Plenty of this was done on the weekend – not today though.
PLUS, I’ve finished all of my Christmas shopping! Gee that feels good. Now to just worry about the food.
This photo is of me in the paper on the weekend. It relates to this.
Ok, so that’s what’s been happening around here. I’m coming to visit you all today. I want to see how your Christmas plans are going.

Dads are tough, no doubt about it. I usually go the book or a new shirt or a CD option… x

Oh we had this problem too!! So my 2 sisters and I made a hamper of jocks, the movie red dog, hankies, 2 tins off beetroot as he always complains that mum forgets it in the salad and a garden gnome. Hopefully next year he will give us some hints…wishful thinking lol

Ive always struggled to get my dad presents and mum!
Ive started ordering novelty type gifts of those gift websites. http://www.giftthings.co.uk seems to be useful and does free deliveries in the uk. They do decent gadget type gifts!
