Inspiring Me: Industrial

Hi there! Last week I had some awful moments with my internet… My kids went over our limit (and me too from downloading Game of Thrones) which meant it was ‘shaped’. I have fixed it, but Bigpond wouldn’t lift the shaping for about 5 days! Horrendous. I rang every day (so 5 times) and each time I was told there was no order to remove the shaping. You’re kidding me! I got so cranky and each person I spoke to couldn’t wait to get off the phone. My eldest kept pumping me up telling me to get crankier and crankier! Ha. Now we have a ridiculous amount of monthly download so we can carry on without that EVER happening again. This would be ok if I HAD NOTHING TO DO. But I had websites and newsletters to get out! SO, in those few days I had a look on Pinterest via my phone (actually, their app is better than I remembered) and you can pin things so quickly. I think I pinned about 50 photos in 10 minutes!

Above are some from my boards. I do love industrial. It’s not for everyone, but the top left kitchen is my favourite. I want to do one of those alcohol vignettes (shame I hardly drink – I should!). They look very NYC-apartment to me. And what about the tree stump accent table? Yup, like that too.

Here’s where you can find me on Pinterest and here’s the Industrial Board I created.

See you tomorrow! X
