Want to test drive a FORD for a week + raising money for Breast Cancer

This is PART 2 of the time I spent in Sydney at the Australian International Motor Show.

Part 1 is here.

After being so kind to me (and even putting a tow bar on my Territory so we can tow our boat on holidays!), Ford is still being nice to me and is letting me give YOU a Ford to test drive for a whole week! How cool is that?! You can pick it up, take it away and enjoy cruising around in it.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. It’s a game of skill so tell me why you want it. You can have fun with your answers, be serious… whatever you like.

The only catch is that you must be able to get the car from a Sydney or Melbourne Ford Dealership. At this stage I can’t tell what the car will be as each dealer has different cars in stock.

You could be driving one of these with Park Assist, Sync and lots more features

Next I want to mention a great partnership between Ford Australia and Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF). It’s called Piece by Piece. It’s the easiest thing to get involved in. All you have to do is go to the website PIECE BY PIECE

and upload a photo of yourself and Ford will simply donate $5 to BCF. That’s it! Just load a photo and do nothing else. But there is more – for every LIKE or SHARE you receive for your photo Ford will donate another $5 per click! So if you get 10 LIKES that’s another $50 Ford will donate.

Here is what Ford said:

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month every image uploaded to the Piece by Piece Mosaic will receive a $5 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). If you choose to share your image on Facebook a further $5 will be donated and for every “like” your image receives another $5 will be donated to NBCF on your behalf. We’ve now raised $25,772 but our goal is still to reach $100,000. Care, Share, Like and help solve the puzzle of breast cancer.

Tell me that’s not the easiest ever!?

I’d really love it if you got on board and spread the word. Ford wants to donate $100,000 and they are only 1/4 there. So help out if you can (and I might even give you a 2nd entry into the winning the TEST-DRIVE).

Have a great day! X

Get your entry in before 5pm Novemeber 9, 2012. Open to Australian residents only who can pick up the car from either a Sydney or Melbourne Ford Dealership. You must have a valid license. Competitions are in accordance with my disclosure policy.

I am looking at buying a new car and the Ford range really excites me!
I’d also like to lend my current to my cousin who had a car accident last wk. so she has something comfortable to take Aidan to the kids hospital for his transfusions.

When we were looking at getting a Territory sized car last year we went down to Ford in Wagga and sat in one, spoke with the guy and we mentioned were also looking at Klugers.

He told us to go to Toyota test drive one, and then come back and drive the territory.

Well…we went to Toyota and never went back to Ford because we fell in love with the Kluger.

So I am yet to sample the goods Ford have on offer even Australia…we had a mondeo in NZ which we loved but haven’t been Ford owners in Australia.

PS Hope it wouldn’t matter I’m holden girl through and through when it comes to Bathurst!

Oh how I would love to say yes to ‘have you driven a ford lately’ but sadly the answer is no. After have motor damage to the one and only family car on the school holidays were have been using my mums car (but I think she would like it back now). My 3 boys would love to play in a new car for a while even if it is only a week. Hope ford don’t mind if it gets dusty as we live on a dirt road!

This is such a great opportunity for whoever the lucky winner is and wish everyone was able to take part.
The reason I would like to win is not just the adventure of a driving holiday and the opportunity to have.the ultimate test drive, it’s also because my mother had brest cancer before she turned 50 and as I approach 40 it is constantly on my mind as I now have an increase risk of getting brest cancer. I would take this opportunity and spread the word, stopping at as many Towns on the way to Brisbane and back again, raising awareness among the locals.

I am in the process of trying to convince hubby that i neeeeeed a ford territory. I have wanted one for ages and friends and family have been buying them and I’m still waiting, waiting! I would love to borrow a ford for the week and hopefully convince hubby that he needs a territory too 🙂

I currently live in Melbourne and have already organised a road trip to the Gold Coast and back, stopping in many towns a long the way, for 2 weeks between November 22 and December 8. I’d love to swap the Hyuandai i20 tiny hatchback that we’re travelling in to a Ford vehicle! In return, my friend and I can put the vehicle to a true test and would be happy to blog/tweet/facebook/video our thoughts along the way!

If that’s too much, I’ve also got some day trips around Melbourne organised for January and would love to do the same as the above!

    Imagine this if you will:
A 2000 Proton. The front right indicator cover is glued on, (with hard as nails no less), the left side mirror is missing,it’s silver in colour but doesn’t glitter anymore.I’d die for a new car (probably almost literally) and to check out a gorgeous new Ford would be fab.
There’s a dealership just down the road,so if the Proton doesn’t make it, I’m prepared to walk. A Ford for a week would be FABULOUS!!! My kids wouldn’t be embarrased when I pulled up at school..
P.S,please don’t let the Proton know I’ve been dissing it.( it’s a sensitive little wheeler)..

There is a mouse in my car and it’s eating the stuffing out of my 18 month old sons car seat! Is there any better reason for a week in a lovely, mouse free Ford?

The kids have made such a mess of my car, with lolly pops hidden under seats, our own personal collection of rocks and sticks they insist on bring home from the park. Add to that toys, books and the odd shoe and sock thrown in for good measure, its fair to say its a mess. A nice shiny Ford to test drive would be a dream, and we could attempt to keep this one clean!!
