Today I have the day to myself

I am secretly excited about today because my boys are all off to daycare/school. Due to the floods we have been house-bound for most of the week and haven't ventured out too far.Today I will finish my Christmas shopping, have lunch with some friends and buy a dress for a Christmas party. What will you be …

    Hi Katrina
Last day of school in our part of the world, one going, one staying home. Me, drop off the one to school, go to pool and swim laps. hurry home, shower, quick cuppa, go to Westfield, ask angels to find me a parking space. call in at scrapbooking shop on way home. get home, another cuppa (T2 organic chai – yum!). get washing off clothesline. supervise one at home to mow front and back yard, probably need another shower, salad for lunch, flop on lounge before needing to pick up one at school, organise one at home to get ready for freinds birthday party in the park. husband will arrive home from work somewhere in middle, another cuppa, take one to party and chat to my best friend for an hour or so at party (her childs party). zoom home and ring their father for him to collect kids for the weekend. plan romantic evening with husband (I got it right the second time around!). if weather good, probably fish n chips by the water. happy weekend everybody! Jane x

Today I took 40 mins to get home from walking the kids to school (it's a five minute walk) because I gasbagged for ages with the other Mums. Then it is washing because there are only scattered showers forecast for today. Then a quick check of the Christmas shopping, some wrapping and then painting my toenails for a Christmas do tonight. At which I shall behave myself because tomorrow I am doing and 8 hour all round trip to the Mecca that is Ikea.

    Hi Hon,

So glad that all is well now in your neck of the woods and that you get to enjoy some free time to yourself and shop..which should put a smile on your dial. Sending big hugs your way x

I hope things are looking a little better down your way. I've been watching on the news and thinking of you. Hope your day was great and you found a Christmas cracker of a dress…not literally of course! 🙂
