I have lots to show you today! And it’s all about wallpaper…
It took me 2 months to decide on a little bit of wallpaper for my entry. But I finally got it up and I love it! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll remember I was putting it up one night in my pj’s (my husband was my helper!).
This pink wallpaper is an Anna Spiro design and I bought online from Porter’s Paint.
Next up is my son’s bedroom…
The Wall Sticker Company gave me with wallpaper for my middle child. His name is Tex and we call him T-rex. He is a bit clever and this map suited him! He loves it and I love it.
It’s self-adhesive, so there is no glue and it seriously took us about 40 minutes to put the whole wall up. We didn’t use any squeegees or rulers or knives. We simply used our hands to smooth it down. It looks and feels like traditional wallpaper, but it’s actually made of self-adhesive wall sticker fabric. This means it is do-it-yourself (no glue, no tradesperson), and removable!
I truly cannot express how happy I am with this product and everyone who visits my house wants to see his wall! Go here for more information.
Next on the list, I just wanted to show you a sneak peak of my sister-in-law’s wall. We did this on Friday. It’s a wall at the top of her stairs. She still needs to style it with a little table underneath.
She purchased this one online at Porter’s Paint.
Now, because I have gone wallpaper mad, I thought I would pop in 2 little giveaways for you..
1. Whiteport have kindly given me a House Rules decal for one of my readers. Pop over to their site to see more gorgeous goodies.
2. I am giving away a little bit of my pink wallpaper which was left over. You won’t be able to do a wall with it, but you’ll be able to chop it up and frame it. It measures roughly 2.5m x 0.5m.
All you have to do is answer this question …
Which room would you wallpaper and why?

Our hallway has pillars and a nook where I have a sideboard from dash. We really need wallpaper to make this nook pop. We are looking at the blue 'round the garden' design by Anna Spiro. I can't wait to do it. Also looking at something similar to the world map once we get built in robes in the baby's room. We have very similar taste katrina. I even have three boys!

I have a small painted chevron wall which breaks up the area of kitchen /dining to lounge and I looove it but it was hard work, and I have a gorgeous decal in my daughters room but would love to give wall papering a go. I would love to find a polkadot wall paper, my littlest is very specific she would like pink with white dots in her room.

My, do my family need to see the HOUSE RULES every day of their god dam lives….
No harmony in my house at the moment. Too many teenage hormones and 10yr old annoying back chat….

I would wallpaper the toilet ceiling – small room & low ceiling so needs a bit of interest…

Great giveaway! Thanks. I would wallpaper my study alcove. Just to make the space absolutely, totally mine. That, and I’m certain my hubby won’t let me touch any other wall space in our house! x

Ooooh! We moved into a new house recently and I’m about to “renovate” my daughter’s musty bedroom closet. I was going to paint most of it but do a wee section in wallpaper and your pink offcut would be a PERFECT fit!
Anyhooo… when you open our front door you’re immediately confronted with a narrow staircase to the upper level. I’d wallpaper the wall directly to the left of the door (ie the wall of the staircase) as it’s a big focal point in the house. It’s difficult to hang anything on that wall because of the tight squeeze, so wallpaper would be a perfect solution!
Love seeing the photos of your new home 🙂

I’d love to wallpaper the back wall of the rumpus room where the TV is. It’s such a long, blank space. I would use the decal in my long hallway.

I'd wallpaper my entrance if I was lucky enough to win the Whiteport paper as teaching my son manners is hard when he goes to his dads with no structure or respect received there.

I would wall paper my son Max's room just as you have. He would love the world map as he is so interested in where all the different countries are. Also he is 5 turning 6 in December so he's slowly growing out of his baby/toddler phase, so it would be lovely to give him something a little grown up. sob sob.

Oh, Pick me pick me for the cut off bit. I have a very small study nook in our dining area and it needs a spruce up. I went to get some wall paper and I was just so confused with so many lovely patterns that I came away with nothing. They also had the dragonfly paper hanging in the shop. It looks great.

Love the Map and your hallway. I would put the house Rules up on my Toilet wall. Nothing is wasted in there I can assure you. Mr 5 spends so much time in the toilet singing and daydreaming I think he would take a fair bit if this in while sitting on his throne.

I'd wallpaper my walk in robe and turn it it into a pretty girly retreat – I'm the only girl in the house with my partner and 2 rowdy boys…

I think I would have to wall paper my hubby and my bed room. Our room seems to be the last room in our house we have to finish but isn't that always the casue we tend to leave us mums to last!

I would wallpaper my a wall in my laundry because I spend way more time in that room than is healthy so something nice to look at would be lovely 🙂

I love your wallpaper and world map. I have been coveting the Anna Spiro trellis wallpaper for our hallway…I had been thinking the Chilli Coral colour but seeing the pink I may be swayed!! With three girls in the house pink never goes astray! The hallway wall needs something bright and gorgeous to make it more homely and inviting. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Esther! You’ve won my pink leftover wallpaper! Email me katrina@themediamaid.com.au.

I would wallpaper our bedroom behind our bed. It's the first wall you see and its plain old white.

I would wallpaper my toilet. At the moment it is painted white with black trims/tiles. It looks great but my tradie husband leaves black smudges on the walls!! Frustrating!! A nice print would help me hint these marks.

I have already checked out the Wallsticker Co…S will be having a world map on his wall, I've wanted to do that since we moved in. But there is this red dividing wall between our kitchen/dining and family lounge areas….that will be covered with NY (to replace the Ikea picture that hangs there) so we always have that amazing skyline to look at. Thankyou for single handedly nearly convincing my husband that wallpaper is actually okay! xx

We just bought a new place and I would put wallpaper in numerous places as I have been studying interior design and my husband has given me free reign YAY!

Toilet training my toddler ATM so the ‘house rules’ would work well as a distraction while we wait for nature to take its course.
