I have lots to show you today! And it’s all about wallpaper…

It took me 2 months to decide on a little bit of wallpaper for my entry. But I finally got it up and I love it! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll remember I was putting it up one night in my pj’s (my husband was my helper!).

This pink wallpaper is an Anna Spiro design and I bought online from Porter’s Paint.

Next up is my son’s bedroom…

The Wall Sticker Company gave me with wallpaper for my middle child. His name is Tex and we call him T-rex. He is a bit clever and this map suited him! He loves it and I love it.

It’s self-adhesive, so there is no glue and it seriously took us about 40 minutes to put the whole wall up. We didn’t use any squeegees or rulers or knives. We simply used our hands to smooth it down. It looks and feels like traditional wallpaper, but it’s actually made of self-adhesive wall sticker fabric. This means it is do-it-yourself (no glue, no tradesperson), and removable!

I truly cannot express how happy I am with this product and everyone who visits my house wants to see his wall! Go here for more information.

Next on the list, I just wanted to show you a sneak peak of my sister-in-law’s wall. We did this on Friday. It’s a wall at the top of her stairs. She still needs to style it with a little table underneath.

Now, because I have gone wallpaper mad, I thought I would pop in 2 little giveaways for you..

1. Whiteport have kindly given me a House Rules decal for one of my readers. Pop over to their site to see more gorgeous goodies.

2. I am giving away a little bit of my pink wallpaper which was left over. You won’t be able to do a wall with it, but you’ll be able to chop it up and frame it. It measures roughly 2.5m x 0.5m.

All you have to do is answer this question …

Which room would you wallpaper and why?

I would wallpaper my oldest boys room. He has a wall painted in dark red and I think it is going to be a bugger to re-paint, this would be perfect for him.

Oh my!! I would love to wallpaper my hallway with the world map! I have been collecting maps for years & that would go perfect in my house! I can not travel overseas anymore because of an ear problem (I am not able to fly) so I love to bring the world to us.

It all looks so great Katrina – I’m thinking I’d like to get a wall map for my son.

If I were wallpapering I wall paper two sections of my hallway – they are recessed and would be great with a pop of colour 🙂

I would wallpaper my dining room to give it a sharp distinction to the lounge and kitchen areas. Currently it looks like a dining table between two rooms, not a "dining" room.

I'd wallpaper the back walls inside an older bookshelf to rejuvenate it and change it to shelve my treasures!

I would love the house rules decal for when we one day extend our house. As for wallpapering a room…hm, maybe I could be brave & do a feature wall in our lounge.

So many walls, so many choices! I love the dragonfly wallpaper- I am a bit of a sucker for dragonflies! I think on the wall as you enter my bedroom would be my best choice for wallpaper. But I think the House Rues decal would be perfect in my dining room!

I’d wallpaper the wall in the toilet, something to look at sitting on the think-tank, think of it as captive audience! 😉 🙂

Hi Katrina,I love your wallpaper and wall sticker. I adore the pink trellis Anna Spiro wallpaper and was thinking of doing a wall in our spare bedroom as a feature. If I won your unused section I would like to use is as some backing for pictures around the house. It would introduce the pink subtly. I also picked up some of the pink peguin books too, nice to see how you have displayed yours.
