I have lots to show you today! And it’s all about wallpaper…

It took me 2 months to decide on a little bit of wallpaper for my entry. But I finally got it up and I love it! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll remember I was putting it up one night in my pj’s (my husband was my helper!).

This pink wallpaper is an Anna Spiro design and I bought online from Porter’s Paint.

Next up is my son’s bedroom…

The Wall Sticker Company gave me with wallpaper for my middle child. His name is Tex and we call him T-rex. He is a bit clever and this map suited him! He loves it and I love it.

It’s self-adhesive, so there is no glue and it seriously took us about 40 minutes to put the whole wall up. We didn’t use any squeegees or rulers or knives. We simply used our hands to smooth it down. It looks and feels like traditional wallpaper, but it’s actually made of self-adhesive wall sticker fabric. This means it is do-it-yourself (no glue, no tradesperson), and removable!

I truly cannot express how happy I am with this product and everyone who visits my house wants to see his wall! Go here for more information.

Next on the list, I just wanted to show you a sneak peak of my sister-in-law’s wall. We did this on Friday. It’s a wall at the top of her stairs. She still needs to style it with a little table underneath.

Now, because I have gone wallpaper mad, I thought I would pop in 2 little giveaways for you..

1. Whiteport have kindly given me a House Rules decal for one of my readers. Pop over to their site to see more gorgeous goodies.

2. I am giving away a little bit of my pink wallpaper which was left over. You won’t be able to do a wall with it, but you’ll be able to chop it up and frame it. It measures roughly 2.5m x 0.5m.

All you have to do is answer this question …

Which room would you wallpaper and why?

I am desperate to try some wallpaper in my boys activity room which is a central area they congregate with their mates to play PS3, draw, read and generally enjoy as their own space.

I have never wallpapered before, so it would be a small feature nook in the lounge room or maybe a feature wall in the toilet. Something that I can do quickly and successfully which would then inspire me to attack a whole wall.

Hmmmm I’ve never actually been brave enough to have a go at wallpaper myself but I would love to wallpaper in my kitchen with clear glass over it to make a very funky splash back! The challenge I think would be finding just the right paper….

Love the world map wall, my son would love that and would probably study it and never sleep. And my daughter would love the dragonflies. Might have to consider wallpaper with the next Reno!

I like the family values. I could put it on the wall at the top of the stairs as you come into the kitchen

I'd wallpaper our entry.. We've only lived in our new house for, oh, TWO years this month and I still haven't done it 😉 It needs a lift, a statement, to be an introduction to our home.

I love the map sticker! My daughter who is 19 and has caught the travel bug would love this, although with windows and cupboards she doesn't have any space, so I'm just hopping over to buy their smaller map. Thanks for sharing!

I'd be different, and say.. the laundry! It needs life and a good pop of colour!

I would wallpaper the hallway between entrance and bedrooms. Always such a "nowhere land" so would put something there to put a smile on my dial as I walk on through. 🙂

I would wall paper one wall in our lounge room. Currently it is an almost army green colour thanks to my wonderful other half painting it this colour before I moved in. Time for change is coming quicker then he thinks. LOL

P.S. LOVE the dragon fly wall paper. It is so beautiful.

I need to wallpaper the master bedroom,
the paint is archaic, I assume.
One wall is a browny green,
all it does is make me scream.
The other walls use to be white,
but let’s just say there no longer ‘bright’.
I have two kids, so the paint is chipped,
from toys being thrown, it’s slowly stripped.
It’s seen many ‘artworks’ over the years,
If I didn’t adore them, they’d bring me to tears.
We’ve put the kids rooms ahead of our own,
but now it’s time to style our ‘zone’.
The room doesn’t help me sleep or rest,
and I need this to be at my best.

I would wallpaper one smaller wall in my kitchen / dining area – I went from a colour addict to complete white out – now it needs a pop of colour!

Definitely my kid's room. The wall looks so pale and wallpaper would make it more vivid and my boy loves colourful room.
