The houses might be done, but there’s still one last piece of the Block Island puzzle to complete – the Disney+ Clubhouse.
With a day spa, cinema, games room and more, this is the ultimate addition to the Block Island village and a chance for one tram to win what could be the most important prize of the whole competition – $50,000 off their auction reserve price.
That was already enough to get the contestants back at their competitive best, but throw in visiting all-stars to help – and in one case take over after another walk out – and it was game on one last time.
Kristian and Mimi (First place)
In Kristian and Mimi’s cinema room, the judges were immediately drawn to the rich wood cabinetry, which harmonised beautifully with matching timber flooring and sleek surfaces in the mini-kitchen area, complete with high-end appliances. But the real surprise lay behind a cleverly concealed door that opened into an expansive, multi-level home theatre.
The space was equipped with a massive projector screen, immersive surround sound, and acoustic curtains that complemented the ceiling’s sound panels. Comfortable seating for all guests was arranged with convenient side tables for snacks, creating a luxurious cinema experience. One judge was floored by the scale and detail of the room, declaring it among the best he’d ever seen.
Jimmy and Tam – standing in for Kylie and Brad (Second place)
With Kylie and Brad stepping away from The Block, all-stars Jimmy and Tam stepped in to complete the Clubhouse games room on their behalf. The judges were thoroughly impressed, noting the duo’s impeccable execution and style. The room showcased a large TV setup for sports viewing, a comfortable sectional couch, a pool table, and an interactive games centre with a realistic race simulator featuring multiple track options.
The design also included modern cabinetry with a stylish pop-up cocktail bar, adding a touch of sophistication. High stools and vertical wall panelling drew the eye upward, adding an extra design flair that left the judges in awe. They agreed: it’s an inviting, grown-up playroom ready to host and impress!
Courtney and Grant (Equal third place)
When Darren entered Courtney and Grant’s serene day spa room, he was immediately struck by its monolithic beauty. The space featured a stunning heated stone slab, rising seamlessly from the floor, creating a calming atmosphere he described as “Japandi meets Moditerranean.” Shaynna noted the artful touches throughout, including unique wall décor, minimalist accessories, and a raw stone basin, blending Japandi calm with Mediterranean warmth.
The room offered further surprises with dual built-in saunas and included thoughtful amenities like lockers and showers. Travertine sconces and textured wall finishes added to the luxurious feel, creating a truly spa-like retreat that promised both relaxation and value for the home.
Maddy and Charlotte (Equal third place)
Maddy and Charlotte’s poolside dining retreat impressed the judges with its thoughtful design and family-friendly features. Complete with an all-star-inspired walk of fame, a pizza oven, sink, and barbecue, the space provided both indoor and outdoor dining options—a perfect setup for family gatherings. Darren appreciated the coastal-inspired elements, saying the nautical vibe was “very coastal appropriate.” Shaynna loved the layered design, from the wall sconces and sculptural pendants to the custom furniture and eye-catching mural, but it was the children’s play area with a sandpit and trampoline that truly completed the space. Marty noted the meticulous design, praising the team for truly “hitting the ball out of the park.”
Ricky and Haydn (Fifth place)
Ricky and Haydn’s outdoor poolside bar delivered a true wow factor, capturing the judges’ attention with its striking architectural design and functionality. Twenty skylights brightened the space, highlighting the expansive ceiling beams, stylish Coco Republic furniture, and two large dining tables on beautiful travertine tiles. A cosy fireplace and sizeable ceiling fans created a comfortable lounging atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings, even on cooler days. Shaynna noted the addition of zipscreen blinds that would help weatherproof the area, making it versatile year-round. “It’s all here!” Darren remarked, celebrating the space as one of the most inviting on The Block.
