Hi there! Target recently asked me if I’d like to do a Christmas inspired blog post and I decided to create a very easy and simple table decoration. I’m not one for over-the-top Christmas decorating so I like to keep it low key.

Target introduced me to their new range of Vintage Luxe decorations. They are pretty and whimsical, so instead of popping my tree up and just randomly hanging these new decorations on it, I thought I could use them to spruce up my dining table in preparation for a Christmas lunch or dinner.

I started with the branches off my actual Christmas tree. I decided to lay them out across the table. So you can easily do this too because you all have a tree! I would have loved some real branches but out here in Wagga Wagga that’s not easy to get. So, if you can get real ones, do that for sure!

I found a glass candle holder and popped the bauble wreath around the base. I put some of the glass decorations over the branches and even placed a string of fairy lights over the top. They look nice twinkling away!

With the place settings, I used Christmas wrapping paper from the Vintage Luxe range to keep within the theme. I just cut up some squares and folded the edges over.

I grabbed a mirrored bauble for each member of the family and wrote their name on it. So easy to do!

And there we go… it’s looking a little like Christmas!

If you’re looking for something easy to decorate with this Christmas Day (and make it look pretty!), then pop to Target to grab some of their new Vintage Luxe range.

Fantastic Katrina! I decided a few weeks back that I was going to use wrapping paper as place mats, so much cheaper, and no washing afterwards. I love this colour scheme of pink and turquoise, but I’ve chosen to do black, white and gold this year with a bit of chevron thrown in. I hope you have a lovely Christmas!
