There is a never ending amount of shops and food places here in New York. I have eaten more than I care to remember. It’s Summer here and there’s nothing like putting on a skirt from your own wardrobe to realise it’s not fitting very well haha. Oops. I’ve been walking kilometres and kilometres every day, but the donuts and pizza is too good here! Tonight we went to the most fabulous American Restaurant named The New York Beer Company. High tables, flat screen tv’s playing music (Jimmy Buffet! My husband was impressed with that one), and of course beer. The atmosphere inside the restaurants are great. The waitresses rely on tips and love Australians so of course they looked after us.

I’ve moved hotels today. We’ve moved one block from Time Square so it’s a little quieter in the streets over here (and by quiet I mean I have a good 1metre of my personal space back when I walk).

We also went shopping today. In heaven! I bought the boys lots of t-shirts for summer. My husband has a collection of New York Yankees hats now. Oh, and about 50 new t-shirts and 3 pairs of Nikes. What we would pay $150 for in Australia, you can get the same Nikes here for $60! My kids, nephew, sister, bro-in-law have all put their orders in too. Ummmm I might have to pay for extra luggage! Hahaha! Aaaannnd my husband just paid $1.10 for a 600ml coke!

Thanks to those who have been following all my Instagram photos! I appreciate it. I’ve been putting hundreds of photos up over there. I’ll need to print them all out when I get home. My kids have been looking at them too. Don’t you just love technology?? 😉

But, I’m starting to get homesick. I am usually such a homebody. Ask my Mum, I sobbed for 3 terms when I had to go to boarding school. Missing my little people, but they’re happy and busy…

Tomorrow I’m off to do some more exploring… Thanks for popping over!

Please think of me while shopping at those prices…just read this post to the kids, they too are extremely jealous. All those clothes, hats and shoes, whoever would have actually thought boys would care for that stuff lol

Loving your adventures! You and hubby must walk over the Brooklyn bridge. Don’t worry about your babies, you’ll be home before you know it, good for them to spend time with grandparents. Xxx
