I switched to Samsung about 12 months ago and I do love it. However, I found it really hard to get my head around all the app changes. What I was used to with iPhone wasn’t exactly the same app when it came to Samsung. I have noticed over the last 12 months though that it now seems easier to find the same app – phew! But it did take a bit of getting used to. Today I thought I would share my favourite Samsung apps (available in the Google Play Store) for photo editing…
Shark – this one is magical. It has cool shapes, words and filters. A must!
Square Instapic – I would be lost without this. If you’ve noticed, sometimes I can’t put a square photo in the frame so I run a lot of my photos through this first to get that white background.
PhotoFrame Free – for collages – I like to use this one when I am talking about interior design and want to feature lots of photos.
Tiltshift – makes objects in your photos look miniature, bright and cute. Great if you’re taking a photo of a landscape or groups of things.
Lumie Lite – put those cute bright sun spots, or hearts over your images.
Lapse It Pro – who doesn’t love a good time lapse video! My boys did such a cool one last week when they were riding bikes over jumps in the bush.
What’s your favourite photo app? I’d love to find a few new ones!

Ok, this has nothing really to do with the apps but I am contemplating making the switch from an iPhone to a Samsung…what do you like about the Samsung versus the iPhone?! I am looking for better phone coverage (I live in country Vic) and also longer battery life!!
Katrina
Such a tough question! Battery life better. BUT it’s a lot to learn and get your head around. Was really hard with the apps initially because everything was different! If iphone had better battery and bigger screen I’d go back. Hope that helps! X

Fabulous, that helps a lot! Thank you 🙂

I love the app ‘A Beautiful Mess’. I use it to jazz up my photos for Instagram as well as for my blog.
