A couple of weeks ago I was sent the new Hoover React Advantage Handstick. Who doesn’t love a handy vacuum which makes that chore so much easier!?
As soon as I got it out of the box I noticed how sturdy, yet manageable it was. The Hoover React is a fuss-free handstick vacuum and extremely powerful. The best part is the FloorSenseTM Technology. No need to change the head as it will smartly detect any change in floor type and adjusts its setting to optimise cleaning performance. I can go from floorboards, to tiles, to carpet in one hit.
Get in around pot plants, do your skirting boards with ease or pick up mess on the couches. It’s like having a dust-buster too! The Hoover React comes with a variety of smaller accessory tools so you can do just about any job.
I got through my entire house and did the smaller areas all on the one battery charge. How good is that?? I’ve previously only ever been about to do about 20 minutes at a time, or I’ve had to lug around a plugged in vacuum cleaner. With the second battery this means I also have another ready to go should I need it. I also want to mention the battery is removable. As in, you charge the battery, not the entire Hoover. I really like that feature!
The Hoover Dashboard displays the cleaning mode, power level indicator and system management at all times. This is at perfect eye level so I can see which mode I’m in and how much battery charge I will have left.

WINNER is Annabel Pittman.
I highly recommend this handstick. I would say it’s probably the best I’ve owned. Just for its ease of use when you can go from floorboards to carpet. It is heavier and a little bulkier than you expect, but is very sturdy and powerful and I’ve already used it a million times (life with 3 teenage boys!).

I would love to win this! I just bought the Hoover Steamer from Godfrey’s yesterday and would love to have the Stick Vacuum to go with it! Moving into our new home soon and don’t want my big ball vacuum banging into walls.
Thanks for the competition Katrina!

Great review – you covered every angle. I’m really impressed with the ability to move from boards to carpet to tiles, my back is killing me from having to reset my current vac all the time! Having a blue heeler cross means hair everywhere & this would be an amazing help. Paws crossed.

I was excited to see the new comp to win the Hoover when I opened my mail on Sunday, only to be disappointed when I scrolled down to see it had already been won.
Cheers Kathryn
