Oh the symmetry

Found this picture over at My Favourite and My Best where Jenny makes me laugh when she pays the living daylights out of things. Crack up!Anyway, I actually LOVE this photo. I am totally feelin' the symmetry. It's calling me. However, the colouring is all wrong for me, but I would still open and close …

Anyway, I actually LOVE this photo. I am totally feelin’ the symmetry. It’s calling me. However, the colouring is all wrong for me, but I would still open and close this door all day long to drool over the symmetry if it were my home.

You are right, the colours are gross but the symmetry is dreamy especially for someone like me who is under the star sign Libra – it all has to balance!!

Just think if they had used more pleasing colors!!! Thanks for stopping by my place and leaving such nice comments about our build.

Yep, you reeled me in with the word symmetry. I love it but not too much… like if something is very symmetrical I have to throw in just one thing off to the side… to sort of make it more real and not contrived, not 'interior designer-ish'. A-M xx

Seems like symnetry is another thing we have in common. It drives my mum & Adam mad, but if it doesn't look balanced I'm not happy!

    Hi Katrina

I love it to, maybe the colours are better in real life, sort of looks over lit – I'm sure that's not the right term LOL!

Yep I love a bit of symmetry too.
In my dreams & if we stayed in this house, it would be all white & painted with touches of "Self Destruct" a wishy washy color from Dulux, divine & symmetrical.
But alas I must put up with Feature brick, heavy timber beams & lots of heavy fittings till I either move or do the big "RENO".
    Still its home.

I love for things to be symmetrical (it drives my husband crazy because he's just the opposite) LOL! I like the symmetry in this room but it seems a little rigid to me. Maybe there such a thing as having too much symmetry.
