This was designated to be a ‘retreat’ area with a lounge and tv area. I blogged about some inspiration for it here. I haven’t finished this area yet. This will take time and more money!
Off to the left is the ensuite which I have shown here before.

My My My you have been busy!! If there is one thing I love about you..its that you have a good set of go-nads! Your not afraid to take a chance and experiment with boldness…the results of this room so far are just fab…and yes…painting all your furniture black is a major risk…but you have pulled it off effortlessly..and beautifully..well done honey!! You know..I think even a third colour would look fab in that room.. taupe or beige or ..or bright yellow which is in at the moment…and I love the built in feature wall shelf..some books and a vase with fresh flowers would look super…so proud of you Katrina..you've done such a fantastic job….I hope you have enjoyed the process x

I have to tell you Katrina, when you announced on your blog that you were going to paint your bedroom stuff black, I kind of thought you were insane! BUT I'm totally impressed. It's all very classy & I can see why your hubby would love it as well.
    Great work!

Now how did I miss this post? Your bedroom is gorgeous! I love how you have done the faded photo edges too…. a new calling? photographer? Just as well I am supposed to be doing paperwork today… I would never have visited… anything to avoid paperwork! A-M xx
