Chambers Street off Broadway! Ha!
A restaurant named Chevy’s! My baby is named Chevy. Love it.
We caught the Staten Island Ferry and went past the Statue of Liberty. She’s a beauty! We decided not to go over to her directly as it’s pretty crowed. We were happy to ride around on the ferry looking back at New York.
The gorgeous skyline! On the left the 2 tall buildings are the new World Trade Centres. They will be completely finished in about 2 months.
You can’t come to New York and not be sipping on Starbucks caawwwfffee! It’s the truth (oh, it’s the truth is my new saying – in an American accent).
I couldn’t help it! The shop was like a lolly shop. And CHEAP!
BlogHER started this afternoon. Here I am! Ready to soak it all up.
I sat with some American girls. They were like “you came all the way over? You blog?? Really! Oh, that’s fun.” Haha. Plus, I had to explain my blog name because The Block means commission housing over there 😉
You can’t really tell here, but Obama was live via satellite on the screen. I filmed his speech. It’s in 2 parts on my youtube channel (my arm got sore and I’m blogging on an ipad so I couldn’t edit it for you!).
Still excited. No Jetlag yet. Fingers crossed!

Glad to see you living it up 🙂

Am I the only one who is paranoid to go for long walks in brand new shoes, just in case they aren’t as comfy/need breaking in?

Loving all your updates Katrina! My life is sounding more and more boring by the second…you’re making me feel like jumping on a plane! 5000 tickets – wow! Can just imagine the conversations you’re having with all those Yankees 😉

Katrina, I feel I am there with you. We did exactly the same things and it brings back all the memories. Dont forget to buy up big on all the girly stuff as it is so cheap over there. I cant wait to hear your thoughts about the blog conference.
