If you don’t then the days and years slip by. I’m grateful for the things I have. I am lucky I get to wake up and do the things that fulfill me every day. Not every day is blissful, I’m not saying that. Some days are tough and crap and I hate them, but mostly I go to bed at night happy and loving life.
All I’ve ever wanted is to be good at something, a good Mum, and good to people.
Do you love what you do?
I’d love to hear from you…

YEP!!! You definitely have to LOVE what you do!!!! Love what you do and…you’ll never work a day in your life! That’s one of my all-time fave sayings! I repeat it ad nauseum!! LOL Have a good day, I don’t envy 13 deg, it’s been lovely here! XX

Im learning. I haven’t found the love what you do thing yet….mainly because i’m not sure what it is…
I do know i need to focus on how to make my time work better for me instead of frittering it away.
I have a lot of things i want to do and i guess i get overwhelmed and don’t do any of them. Its all about Balance and that is my word this year…..
I need a life coach or some hints from somebody to help me get my stuff together 🙂
I’m happy in general, i just don’t know what i want to be when i *grow up* 🙂

Its funny you should say that! My friend said to me yesterday she’d love to be a life coach. She should too! I’d love that job. It would be great. I’m good at organising other people, just not myself! X

Totally agree!! It’s what gets ur thru the tough times! With so much loss and grief around the world we have to appreciate how lucky we r. Even if we are having our own crisis it’s usually worse for someone else. I have a happy outlook on life cos I have it all (most days), great partner (most of the times), great kids ( most of the time), great career (most
Of the time), I may have some health issues but who doesn’t at nearly 40! Haha omg I’m 40 in a few weeks!!! I have a fairly positive out look on that (most of the time) hahaha I don’t wanna get old! I love ur positivity. Great things happen for u cos u make them happen with ur determination, drive, and all the good karma u have in the bank from being a nice person!

Hey KC, yes hearing ya, Being good at being a Mum & wife is enough for me. I love it. And am so glad I get to do something I love everyday. When the boys are older I would like to pursue some other passions, but for now I am content. Also hearing you on the Footy in the freezing cold. 4 of them every weekend. I am getting a little jack of sitting in the rain, wind & cold. But I can’t bring myself to ever miss a game.

Love what you do, so work won’t feel like work at all. Congratulations to the lucky winner! XoXo

Maybe its the weather, a change of season makes you evaluate your life. Holding my big baby Mr 7 in my arms thinking similar thoughts. I love being a mum, hard as being a special needs mum is and then dealing with an active 4.5 year old too, it fill me up with Love. As I say to my boys I’m the luckiest mum in the world….

I am lucky I am one of those people who loves their job and is very passionate about it. People often look at me incredulously when I tell them how long I have been in the same job. Why change? If you are good at it and love it go for it.

Hmmmm, in some ways I do – I work as a VA and love my clients but it’s been ten years now. If I could wave that magic wand, I’d probably rent the house out, pack up the partner and kids and head off around Australia in our Jayco Swan for a couple of years. Small thing about educating our kids. May have to bring someone along with us to do that 🙂

I tutor kids who find reading, spelling and learning in general, tricky. I start with showing them ‘how they best learn’ and then teach to that strength. I work part-time so my family gets the best of me too(mostly). LUUUUUURVE showing kids that everyone can learn and to believe in themselves. So when I get to that point of ‘am I a good mum/wife/sister/daughter/friend’ I get by with a little ‘try not to sweat the small stuff'(mostly), just be me and be the happy me.Love what I do …..YES I DO 😉 Neen

Love this! You’ve reminded me of all I do love about my days and what I do, and that even when things aren’t blissful there’s a lot to love x

From my view you are a wonderful mum and the proof is in those 3 gorgeous boys that quite obviosuly just adore you – and to top it all you are genuine and kind so you can tick off good as well. xx

I spent 6 years ‘loving’ what I was doing. I put up with death threats, abuse, threats of physical violence for too long. About 6 weeks ago I was doing what I’d normally do, and the abuse, while minor compared to previous times, was so much that I drove home in tears and now haven’t gone back. My family encouraged me not to go back as well. They now tell me that they think I’m much happier.
I’ve given up my one form of income for happiness. It’s worth a lot more in the end.
