Kidspot Ford Territory Top 50: A Woman’s Perspective

I missed the Territory the last week! I haven’t been able to drive it! It’s been parked at home feeling very lonely 🙁

This is my last challenge and then I have to hand the little darling back. Boo boo. But this has been so much fun. It hasn’t been a real ‘challenge’ as such. I’ve loved being a part of this competition.

Today I have to write about the Ford Territory from a woman’s perspective…

I don’t know about your house, but I know the majority of households who are in the market for a new car, would base their decision around what the female wanted anyway! We have a great deal of purchasing power (well I know I do haha!).

After being lucky enough to have the Ford Territory for a few weeks, I have now decided that when we buy a new car, I have some particular requirements…

This is my shopping list:

1. Leather: Must be leather! Dirty, wet, muddy feet. Ice-cream on hands and face. Ink on my husbands work pants. These are the things I had to wipe off the leather in the Territory. Couldn’t be without leather now.

2. Bluetooth/Hands Free: I love to talk. No, not kidding you ;). Now I can annoy my husband even more with Hands-free!

3. DVD player: Omg. Heavenly. 10 year hasn’t punched his 2 younger brothers for a month now.

4. 7 seater: Furthermore to the point above – 10 year old has been separated from his 2 younger brothers. Ha! Plus, I can earn some Mother of the Year stripes as I ring all my friends and tell them that I can help pick up their kids from school. I gleefully wave to the other Mum’s as I come out of the school car park with a car loaded full of children.

5. Console to hide lollies: Must have! Just must. Oh, and a cool spot for my phone to sit (you want this cover don’t you??). 😉

6. Deep seats to hide the fact I am wearing my pj’s: I do all of the school runs in my pj’s! They are too comfortable and it’s my little secret that I live in them.. shhhh…

7. Happy Kids: Well, look at them would you? They’re devastated FORD! Please don’t make us give it back. How can I deal with this?? From a mother’s perspective – I need to keep these little guys happy!

Thanks everyone for supporting me and voting. Today is the last day I’ll beg for votes – I promise. Next week it will be announced who wins the car and the trip to Blogher to attend the biggest blogging conference ever. God, I hope it’s me! Wish me luck and thank you. x

How awesome is Ford’s Bluetooth system? I’d be lost without mine… I’m always on the phone. It even reads my text messages out loud to me.

    Technology – love it!

Oh dear! Ford! You really must let Katrina win. I can’t cope with one screaming child let alone three screaming kids.

    Good luck Katrina!

As a family vehicle, those characteristics you mentioned really makes the Ford Territory a perfect fit.

I never go back to a car that does no have leather. EVER and blue tooth is a must and a car that tells you the temperature and keyless entry..a total must. I always loose my keys in my bag but now I don’t even have to take them out. It’s BLISS!!!

Fingers crossed you get to keep it.
