Hey there! Mid-week and here is a really quick house update. It's not exciting, because it's just dirt, but it's super exciting for me! Plus, I will love looking back on the progress... Look at that! Look at that! Retaining wall is almost done. This should be finished off today, then the plumbing goes in and the slab goes down early next week. Then I’m having a slab party (ie. a picnic on the slab)!
I’m heading to Sydney later today for the Australian International Motor Show with FORD. They’ve invited me to be part of their media and I will be having some fun with their new cars and new technology. It’s not a contractual agreement because of my Kidspot car, but rather a cool gig they offered me as well. I’m stoked. Ok, so I’m not a car nut, but I will blog about my experiences (from my Mumsy point of view!). This is will be so much fun and hilarious! I’ll be tweeting from the show AND I will be giving one of my readers the chance to test drive a new Ford for a whole week. Stay tuned…
Have a great day! X

It’s funny how every little movement when you build a house is such an important event. I was excited when the temporary fencing went up!

How very exciting! I love this part, progress happens so fast. 🙂

sounds like fun!

Oh that is so great about the Ford gig! There is nothing cuter than kids exploring a building site…. their building site! xx

Have you posted your floorplan? How did you go choosing your builder? We’re in the middle of the beginning of all of that and my head is spinning!

Hi Casey, it’s overwhelming isn’t it? Argh! No I haven’t posted the floor plan. Go with your initial gut and don’t research everything under the sun because it gets confusing! Good luck. X

Ooh!! it’s time to get that bag packed! Hope you are going to have some golden moments in Sydney & we are waiting to enjoy the car blog (obviously from Mumsy point of view) for sure.
Have a safe trip & best wishes for the “Slab Party” 🙂
