Introducing the new blog sponsor – Annie Sloan UNFOLDED

Today, I am really excited to share with you something that’s been going on in the background here with my little blog… I’ve been asked to partner with UNFOLDED, the exclusive distributor for Chalk Paint™ decorative paint and other Annie Sloan Products in Australia and New Zealand. I will be working with UNFOLDED for the next 12 months, and I have some really exciting projects ahead which I can’t wait to show you. So this means, you’ll see me pop in with a blog post here and there where I’ll be writing about painting furniture, restoring things, making something new again and it will be all thanks to UNFOLDED.

Here’s a little bit of background:

Developed in 1990, Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan is unlike any other paint. It is non-toxic, water-based, lead-free, EG-free, odor-free, and has very low volatile organic compounds. Its utility helps achieve quick, easy, and fun results. The versatility of Chalk Paint® allows it to be used on walls, floors, and furniture with various finish options from distressed to textured to smooth. It’s more than just a paint; it’s an instrument for innovation, a transformation of ideas, and a worldwide phenomenon! You can see all of the colours here.

I know you’ve probably seen this paint around before. Some of my favourite bloggers are using it and I just love their projects. I am waiting on some new colours to arrive and I’m going to tackle a coffee table (that I almost sold, and am so glad I didn’t!). I think I’ll paint it bluey/green. Of course I’ll be showing you the outcome, so stay tuned 🙂

I am really looking forward to working with UNFOLDED because they are as passionate as I am about DIY, interior design and making old things new again. I am very inspired by their Facebook page. If you’re new to Chalk Paint™ then feel free to pop over to their website for more information and find out where you can buy some yourself. Over the next 12 months I might paint a chair, a table, restore something and show you how it easy it is to yourself. I’ll use lots of colours and even have some great giveaways for you! Plus you will see some great posts from Annie Sloan UNFOLDED with DIY advice.

Have you used Chalk Paint™ decorative paints before? What’s your favourite colour?

How Exciting! I’m about to “whiten” my whole house and change all my dark Melbourne furrniture to lighter tones. It will be great to follow your journey with this to get some great ideas! xxxxx

Really looking forward to what you do with this paint Katrina. The pale blue is divine. I love a project so I know you will inspire me to experiment with these products.

How exciting – 1 to get a sponsor and 2 to have a good excuse to get on with the diy projects. Loving the colour!
