A couple of weeks ago I kind of fell off the couch when a lovely email arrived asking if I’d be interested in joining the team at The Remarkables Group. Now what does all this mean, and who are they?
The Remarkables Group is a talent agency for influencers. I’ve been admiring their work from afar for years. They are very good at creating remarkable influencer-brand relationships and this is right up my alley.
I’ve been blogging away here since 2006 and I really haven’t stepped away from it. Later this year that means I’ve been hanging out here for about 10 years. WOAH. Since my stint on The Block in 2011, my blog took a “commercial” turn and I started to be able to earn a few dollars and work with some brands. I have loved doing that and want to keep doing that!
So, while nothing will change around here, I just know I’ll be offering better information on interior design, where to buy things, how to make things and hopefully inspire you a little bit along the way. I’ll now have someone helping me to achieve that rather than managing it all myself. I feel a bit professional!
I’m in good company and I have a loooong way to go before I reach their standards, but feel free to go and check out some other bloggers who are a part of The Remarkables Group. It’s been a good week around here. 😉
