Guess you heard the news? We’re all good! No drama with us… happy and doing fine.
I owe so many people emails and updates. I have lots happening here on the blog, so I need to spend some time getting bits ready.
I have no idea what my new/next career path will be, but Amie and I have lots on the cards!
Today I only have time to show you some recent photos of the auction…
As usual, A-M wrote the most awesome blog post about auction night. She came! She was a VIP of mine hehe… Check it out (more photos over there).
If you want to see a POST-AUCTION interview with Amie and I click here.
We also have stories in all the magazines in the coming weeks.
Plus, I’d love to know what YOU think Amie and I should do next in our lives (apart from smothering our kids and hubby’s!).
Lastly, if you really need to know what I am doing all the time, I am a twitter junkie!

Katrina, I am so sorry for you and Amie after all the hard work you put in and if I had the money I would honestly have bought your place. A fantastic investment. As for your future, I don't think you need to worry. I think opportunities will come knocking at your door! Move over the trashy Kardashians! I don't know how to tweet but was wondering what make-up they used for you girls on the auction night? You looked stunning. All the best. Petah

Hi Katrina, it must have been so frustrating to see the house passed in and then sold for reserve after all the blood, sweat and tears. Gosh, I thought they all would have sold EASILY!
Can I say, you all looked absolutely stunning! I think whatever you decide to do next, you will be a big hit. You have such a warm, fun personality.
    Good luckl! 🙂

I was disappointed for you too. It was a very unexpected result! Whatever you decide to do I'm positive you'll succeed; you've proved you're made of the good stuff! I bet your four boys are glad to have you home. Best wishes,

Hi Katrina..I thought yours would have sold for sure. I liked it right from the start. Your kitchen/dining area was definitely the best of the lot. I was shocked to see them being passed in, do you think the reserve prices were too high for the market? I hope WIN have compensated you for your work on it.

No one could've predicted the dud result for all of you. It made compelling viewing, so I guess Channel 9 must be happy for the ratings win. That would not have happened, if the contestants weren't so engaging. A great mix, definitely.

You know things will only be brighter and happier for you two. I second Sarah's comment about you looking stunning. Your hair was gorgeous!

And write a Chowder cookbook with proceeds going to the CWA!! xx

Hi Katrina, Both you girls looked fantastic at the auction. I'm so sorry it didn't sell under the hammer. Crazy buyers what were they thinking? Now for your next chapter Well you are both so talented in lots of things and I'm sure you will both go on to do even more amazing stuff but I definatly think you should more of the room styling for photo shoots, The challenge you guys won was great you really have the nack for it and I also think Amie should have her own show called "Tell it like it is" I will never forget the talking to she gave keith when she was painting the house. Ha ha Priceless! I love it! Go Amie! Good luck with everything girls keep up the good work. xf

yeah I had tears in my eyes all night too. what a fizza. I think you guys should be given a weekly pay cheque like they do on other reality shows (BB) just for your time, a guarentee at least. I hope big things do come to you, something rewarding for your time.

Katrina, you and Amie looked so chic on auction night. I thought Amie had a 'Audrey Hepburn – Breakfast at Tiffany's vibe'. Can you let us know where you bought your frocks? Amber

Must have been disappointing for you after all that hard work and the time away from your family. Glad to hear you're still so positive about the experience. You look stunning at the auction – loved the hair and the outfit!!! x

Must have been gut-wrenching to see your house passed in. I guess there's some comfort in the fact that 2 others were as well. Glad you sold it afterwards; sad you didn't get anything over reserve.

Take some time out and assess the opportunities that are or will be coming your way (plural your). You will be successful whatever you end up doing.

OMG Katrina, you looked stunning! I loved the dress and the hair and the shoes. You were very glamorous indeed! Thanks for such a great series. I enjoyed the block so much and will miss my daily dose of Kat and Amie. I wonder where all this will lead? The sky is the limit. I wish you both, all the luck in the world.

It is sad that it is over, I hope you and Amie have enjoyed the extra publicity shoots. Have you ever thought of doing a spot on your local radio? or a decorating advise column in the local paper or on your blog/ People could write in and ask design questions.

Oh I felt for you guys. All the hard work, tears, and pressure. But what a wonderful experience one I'm sure you will both treasure.
I think you guys deserve your own
TV show where you renovate a house with your families, a gorgeous farm house or something.
You guys rock and will soar to all new heights.

OMG, you guys were fantastic!! How about putting some bloody fresh twists into styling DIY, i mean, it's usually done by men, normally in safe (yawn) styles & nothing like your approach, which is what people with taste are after, not just a stuffy real estate agent & gay magazine editor, i mean come on, family friendly & mummy styled fun in our homes, that is what we're after & loving, not the opinion of 2 men so focussed on their own taste & what would sell. So put that in your applications or ideas or plans, your style was totally fun & modern with classic flair, in that "if you don't like our choice of colours, try your own, but TRY IT" manner. Go girls, you were so much fun, love Posie
