I abuse my pyjamas

I would wear them all day, every day, if I could.

Today is going to be one of those days. I’m not taking them off (except for footy training later today).

Do you even come home from being somewhere and get back in to your pyjamas?

I will get dressed nice for the day, but as soon as I get home from something (doesn’t matter if I have to go out again) I’ll change back in to them. My neighbours see me in my pj’s every day. I have to explain that I was dressed for the day, but these are more comfortable when at home. 🙂

I even strip off my bra! I have all sorts of pj’s. Of course I own some animal print ones too!

So do you abuse your pj’s like I do? Or do you have favourite ‘house clothes’?

This makes me laugh every time. I’ve seen it on facebook lots, but it still cracks me up.

I’ll wear pj’s before I wear a tracksuit. I don’t even think I own a proper tracksuit (that’s another blog post lol!).

I live in either slippers or havaiana thongs. I cannot walk around the house in bare feet. No way! Cracked heels and dirty feet just aren’t my thing.

It’s pyjamas all the way – every day.

What about you? Tracksuit, pj’s, no bra, house clothes??

Bring it on today.

PS. Remember my incessant nagging for you to vote for me in Kidspot Top 50 Bloggers? Well I’ve made it to the Top 5. OMG! Thank you everyone. OK, so we’ve still got a bit to do and I’ll be pleading for your help again. Why? Cos you might win $5,000 cash and I need to go to New York to BlogHer (massive blogging conference) so I can be the one bringing back all the latest stuff that’s happening in the blogging world. You know I am a sharer, so I want to be the one reporting and sharing everything I learn at this big blogging conference. Thank you for being such good support!  I’ll keep you posted on how you can help me get over the line. In the meantime, I get to drive a Ford Territory for a month, so if you see me in it around Wagga make sure you toot!

I did a Hamish and voted from every computer I could. I knew it. I just knew it. Fingers and toes. We’ve got to get you to New York! On the PJ thing I need to know your PJ source. I’m a shortie so they are always too long for me… I end up polishing the floors with them. So spill.

The pj’s I am wearing were bought by Polly’s Mum! So not sure where they are from, but I love Cotton On pj’s! All different styles and shapes. Even get nighties! PS. Thank you for voting xoxoxo

I generally just change into my pj bottoms and only if I’m not going out again. I love Explorer socks too but they don’t make them the way they used to.
You really do love your pj’s! Congrats on reaching top 5, that’s brilliant!

    I totally do that……
Straight in the door and switch ;o)
It also cuts down on the washing because I can wear the same clothes a couple of times because I only have them on for an hour or so at a time……that’s my theory anyway ;o)

Katrina I house house clothes which are my painting clothes. Tragic I know. People come to my home and I am always in my painting clothes. Dress nice for school drop off then straight home into my painted old shorts and singlet. If I have to go out through the day I shower and put on nicer clothes then straight back into my painting clothes. It’s so nice to have a day when I can dress normally.

We love a good ‘jarmie’day in our house. My eldest son often asks me “is today a jarmie day Mum?”
There is nothing like pottering around the house in your pj’s all day. My neighbours are also forever seeing me in them, so I have to choose wisely – especially on bin day! I like Bras n Things – mix and match, singlets with little shelf bras =) Comfy and practical!
    Have a great Tuesday! x
P.S Congratulations on Top 5. We are all behind you =)

I too voted on every device I could get my hands on and was SO excited to see your name in the top 5! Congratulations and much deserved.

I live in my pjs after all the school activities are done and dusted. It can be quite embarrassing when that is 4pm and people drop by…

If I ever want a parcel to arrive, I just leave my pyjama’s on. Guaranteed, the days I’m in my pj’s, i have to answer the door and sign for something. The pj bottoms I don’t mind. The top without the bra, well, that’s a whole different story. There are some things that should never see the light of day, and that is one of them.

I love my pjs. My hubby doesn’t “get” how on a weekend I could stay in them for hours pottering about the house:) it’s either them or my gym clothes and if it gets a bit chilly then the dressing gown goes on, usually over the gym clothes or pjs:) congrats on reaching top 5. A fantastic achievement

Yay congratulations!! I so hope you win 🙂

I am in my pyjama’s as I type. I could LIVE in my pj’s if given the choice. Summer is a Peter Alexander slip nightie and winter is long pants and a tshirt or long sleeve tshirt, depending on how cold it is and slippers or bed socks on feet. I am a visual feast 😉

I live in my jarmies when at home too but die of embarrassment when I get caught in them. We need to start a trend where school drop offs in jarmies is all the rage! I dressed this a.m but back to jarmies now until I start work at 1pm

Yep I am a Pj’s kind of girl, soon as I walk in the door, on come the PJ bottoms, while its getting a bit cooler, the socks also come on with them, sometimes on weekends when we are going out, my husband will say is that a new outfit, and I will say no I’ve worn it before to work. Then I realise – he doesn’t really see me in anything but PJ’s lol. Never wear Tracksuits either, and weekends if we are not going out I keep them on most of the day! Congratulations of being in the top 5 that is quite an achievement – Good Luck!

I didn’t think of it like this before, but yes I’m a PJ abuser. I always change out of my good/going-out clothes when I get home, and have a collection of play/garden clothes. You know when you do a wardrobe clean out, and say to yourself “that’s still good for a garden shirt”. Or in my case often painting.

My ‘home’ clothes are my painting clothes. Quite often I go to school dropoff/pickup in them too. I am not one to ‘dress up’ for school, although sometimes I probably should, haha! I don’t own any pj’s (or nighties). I am a trackies and (was) a slippers girl and used to hate wearing bare feet in the house back in NZ…here I hate to have anything on my feet in the house, weird!

Bye, gotta go paint something! (story of my life)

My home clothes are a pair of trackies and a jumper during winter. I’ll change into them as soon as I get home, even if I have to go out again too. They are just so comfy.
If I get up in the morning and don’t have to do anything the pj’s stay on. Bras n Things do get pj’s – I always buy them when they are on sale.

Totally with you on no bare feet in the house too! It’s havaianas, socks or uggies for me as well, even ballet flats.

Congratulations on making the top five!! Will cross my fingers for you.

I am the biggest PJ girl too! I’m in them right now.

When I used to work, the first thing I’d do when I got home was get into my jammies. And now which children, I love the excuse to have a few pyjama days – especially in winter!
ps. Well done for making it to the Top 5!! xx

Seriously girl, we were separated at birth, my neighbours call me the “pajama lady”. I can be in pj’s with make up still on & my hair done because I have to go back out later. Funny.
And yeah once the bra is off…well.
I went to the kids footy match once in a hurry after wearing my pj’s and forgot my bra. Now that was a scary day for everyone involved.
