Crystals have been used for thousands of years to aid health and healing and to protect (plus they look good too!). If you’re buying new crystals not only do they look good, it’s refreshing to know they might also be able to help the energy in your home!

It is beneficial to place crystals throughout your home, office and in a special space to constantly surround yourself with free flowing positive energy. From the large geodes to the small tumbled stones, each of these gemstones and their meanings have a balancing, positive effect on your body and mind. I feel that energy creates energy. So if they make me feel good, and I believe, I shall receive.

PLUS, they are aesthetically beautiful and can fill an empty surface in your home. Pop them on a console, in your office, next to your bed, or on a tray on your dining table.

Healing crystals are not medicine, so you cannot rely on them to improve a medical diagnosis, but if you believe in them, they can improve your mood and mindset.

In terms of Feng Shui crystals are powerful for energy. Tourmaline cleanses, purifies and forms a protective shield around the body. Rose Quartz is a love healer and attracts love to you and from you. It brings self-love and acceptance. And Citrine is considered the stone of abundance.

Promote Happy

The rose quartz stone is a master healer, and it is commonly used to heal almost every aspect of relationships and romantic experiences. Placed in the southwest Feng Shui area of the home (use a compass app on your phone to find out where that is) two rose quartz hearts or points helps to promote happy energy in a love relationship. Add a full bowl of rose quartz stones to the bedroom as a Feng Shui love cure. I have a little ring bowl next to my bed with some stones to keep everything warm and fuzzy. ♥

Create Healing

Clear quartz is a very versatile crystal and can do a variety of jobs – from clearing, protecting and strengthening your energy field to helping assist with any form of energy. It’s considered the most powerful healer and amplifier. Excellent for blockages. Works on all levels of self. Aids memory, excellent to program and store information. Feng Shui wise, place it in areas that need fresh, crisp, clear energy. You can’t really go wrong with the placement of the clear quartz in your home or office.

Ground yourself (or your child)

Hematite is known for stress-busting and grounding qualities. It is supposed to be placed near the front door and ensures the energy entering the home is calm and soothing. Or pop it in the west Feng Shui area of your home if you’re after some ‘calming energy’. It also seems to help soothe hyperactive children and it is commonly placed in their rooms.

Protect your home

Tigers Eye is very effective in protecting your home. It is considered a powerful dynamic stone with a protective and watchful quality. Its ideal placement would be near your front door or around windows. It’s also a great stone for protecting children (place a stone in their room). Additionally you can place several tumbled hematites or black tourmaline stones either outside or inside your front door. If you have pots by your front door you can put some tumbled stones in them.

Absorb negative energy

The Amethyst has strong healing and cleansing powers. Helps to overcome addictions and blockages of all kinds. It aids sleep and dispels all negative emotions and brings positive responses. Because the amethyst is so powerful I recommend placing a cluster in the middle of your home (it is also best to avoid placing your crystal cluster right by your bed). Black Tourmaline is highly protective, making them ideal in the entry of your home. The front entrance of your home is powerful, it’s where all energy enters and leaves. Place your black crystals in a cluster to manipulate dense energy into a lighter vibration.

Aid with wealth

Citrine is considered ideal for boosting self-esteem and creating positive energy in any location. It’s known as the wealth stone. It can boost finances and positive cash flows. Place the stone in the money area of a home as a wealth cure (I have some in the south east corner of my home office – where I work and pay bills!). Also use small pieces of Pyrite. It looks like gold! Be sure to touch it often.

Here’s a list of crystals if you’re a beginner. ♥ KC.

I was having trouble with energy levels and had a couple of crystals sitting on my bedside. Just randomly chatting to a spiritual/energy healer when she said “You have put crystals next to your bed, haven’t you? Move them straight away.” Apparently (she said) crystals can charge up by using your energy while your body is recharging in your sleep, effectively draining your energy.
I moved the crystals and have been having much more restful sleep. I don’t think it affects everyone the same but it was something I wasn’t aware of. I still have my crystals. Just not right next to my bed.

That’s interesting! Good to know it’s helped you. Which ones did you have next to you? X

I would like to know what size stones to use around my house or office? I see all types of info, but do I need a small tumbled stone, or something larger? Thanks ? Kay
