House update: The roof is going on!

It's been a busy week at the block. The roof battens are all on and done and they've started sheeting it! I am loving it sick. Look at my verandah on the front! There's also some photos of the back doors... The sarking has gone on all around the house too ready for the weatherboard …

The sarking has gone on all around the house too ready for the weatherboard to go on. I spoke to Brad “the man” doing all the work and he said they’d get most of the cladding up and done before Christmas. Yay!

It’s really taking shape.

I don’t have much chatter today. Yesterday I didn’t blog as I went to be with my family as we said goodbye to my Pop. I’m tired, weary and teary today. But god I love my family. I really love them. My boys have a pupil free day today, so I’m lying low…

Next post I’ll have a giveaway.

PS. I do have something else you should check out though… Shaynna Blaze has her own tv special! Shaynna’s looking for shabby kitchen and living areas in desperate need of help and owners willing to project manage under her guidance. Apply here! This would be so  much fun. I wish I had a kitchen that needed a makeover! I hope I see one of my readers on her show 🙂

Have a great day!

What’s not to love about a blue wrapped house?

Katrina, I read the above comments and went in search of the sad news about your father. You’re not very old so he can’t have been either. I am very sorry. xx
