I am the biggest homebody. I would rather be barricaded inside my house than anywhere else. I am a Cancerian afterall! The last few weeks I have done just that. I’ve barely left the place (except for all the sporting commitments!). I love nothing more than straight cushions, fresh flowers and clean floors. I’ve been happy to potter in my home. I wake each day to a rowdy household, then once they’re off to school I return home to do a little work on the computer, clean up my house, do the washing and sneak in a little tv time… But sometimes I get a little bored and that’s what led me to make the decision to return to Uni. Thank you so much for all your support yesterday. I am excited and nervous. I have no goal for what I actually want to do with this degree at the end… all I know is that I want to do something new and see where it takes me. Life’s too short not to try new things. Life’s too short to stand still. If you’ve been following my blog for a while you’ll know I like a challenge!
But today I will be happy to potter here again in my house. I have the flu and a vomiting child. So he and I will snuggle in bed (after I straighten the cushions on the lounge and clean the floors). Ha! I can’t be sick if the house is a mess – it makes me sicker! 😉
Have a great Thursday everyone. X

Something Gorgeous
Hope you and your little boy feel better soon. Your days sound a lot like mine, I can’t think if my house is not clean and tidy. XT

As Mum’s even though we are busy with doing what we do and with a bit of work on the side…some of us (that like a challenge) still want more and can get a little complacent…exciting times await you…being nervous and excited is a nice feeling – I too recently started working casually in a gorgeous homewares store away from what I do – it’s nice to get out ! You will love Uni, I bet you will have the best stationary in your class ! heheh Rest up and get well soon !! Hx

Sorry you are not well. Hope you are all well again soon. Completely unrelated question… Where did you get your Cape Cod chairs from? I have clicked on all your ad links but did not see them in any of them? Thank you
Katrina
They came from Aldi would you believe! Someone also told me they are coming back on sale at Aldi again in 2 weeks 🙂
Sharon
Thank you. Saw them in their catalogue yesterday and joked to my husband we should get them from there. Now I’m not joking…!!!

I’m surprised Katrina as I thought you were a get out and about people person! I’m a typical cancerian too and when you live on top of a mountain even worse lo

Yay! That’s exciting news. A whole new chapter is always exciting.
I love your white roses. Cannot wait to get my house finished so we can start landscaping the yards. I have visions of white iceberg roses in the front of mine too.
Get well soon x
