If you’re lucky enough to jag a block of land in the suburbs which has good wide frontage then this plan may work for you. I love a wide front! It gives the illusion that you have a monster of a home, but really it’s just spread out and uses the space well. There is nothing worse than seeing a project home with narrow frontage built on a wide block. The key is to use all the space you can from boundary to boundary. It’ll mean you get a bigger backyard too with no dead areas down the side.

This plan is pretty simple… 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 living. There’s no designated alfresco area, so that would be up to you where you add that on. The workshop/storage is good. I’m not sure I could walk straight in to the pantry from the garage though. Imagine how dirty it would be. I would re-jig that a bit. It may need a hallway space of its own.

I found the plan here. There are plenty of facade options too.

What do you think about this one?
