There are many features of this home including a Butler’s pantry in the kitchen, open plan living, four bedrooms, plus a sitting room. The home is complete with an outdoor alfresco, study nook, double garage and ample storage. The ground storey is where every day living occurs, yet the home features an additional loft on the second floor, ideal as a rumpus, home theatre, office, or anything that suits your family’s lifestyle!

My hubby and I were just looking at this plan (and their other loft plan) the other day. I work from home and love the idea if my home office upstairs away from the craziness of everyday life.

Love a loft. My idea for it will be a technology free zone where you can escape. Thinking bean bags, books, board games. Thanks for finding this one.

Love the idea of a loft – it something we toyed with doing with our current house. There is plenty of room, space for an attic ladder but its hard to justify it just as a storage space. If it was more livable space I’d do it. It would be too hard to keep it ventilated I think x

I love this one. I have an obsession with not having any bedrooms or main living/dining areas at the front of the house (privacy nut here!) and by making that front bedroom a guest room this comes pretty close to my ideal layout.

My husband wanted to redesign our house, because now there is a lot of space that could not be used. There are a lot of furniture as well. We will use some of the ideas presented on this great plan in order to achieve the desired house. I want more space, a loft and a few furniture, so my whole day will not be spent on cleaning.

Thanks for the great article! πŸ™‚
