Floor Plan Friday: Chef’s kitchen & scullery with servery window

What do you think about this floor plan today?? It's a little bit different, so I wasn't too sure about it. The plan is from a display home which you can see here. It does seem to be very popular though. I like the high ceilings, the master bedroom layout and all the glass across …

I like the high ceilings, the master bedroom layout and all the glass across the back of the home. It would be a very light and bright home.

The chef’s kitchen and scullery with servery window is a bonus.

The theatre room with fireplace and floating desk really got me looking at this plan. I thought it was best to add some photos from the display home so you can see how they’ve pulled it all together.

What do you think about this one?

Love the scullery/kitchen/outdoor kitchen. I think the biggest issue is the theatre room is too close to the main living area, especially with it being so open. It would be difficult to watch a movie in the theatre if there was a lot going on in the heart of the home.

I completely agree. It’s impractical. Also, personally (and for resale), the master bedroom being at the back isn’t ideal. I think the home is beautiful though and I can see why people fall in love with the dream it sells.
