Today my eldest had a few lines to say at a prayer service at his school. I sat up the back all choked up. He doesn’t normally get up and do these sorts of things so I was very proud.
Tomorrow I am shopping with a girl who won a competition I was involved in to win a room makeover. We’re finally doing all the purchasing tomorrow. Exciting!
Then I will race to the footy oval where my boys play their first NRL game of the season. Last season my son broke his arm while I was on The Block, so I missed seeing him play as he was out for the whole season. My 2nd son played last year too and he was sensational so can’t wait for his return tomorrow. My 3rd son just skips around and doesn’t listen (typical baby of the family! ;)). I doubt he’ll play. That doesn’t matter! He is only 5, so next year we can try again if he doesn’t want to play tomorrow.
Next week I’m heading on a little holiday with the family. Can’t wait for that!

Hi Katrina, I have just come across your blogs and I love them. I am currently watching the block 2011 which is on UK TV at the moment. Me and my boyfriend eat our dinner off our laps everynight watching it! We are about to buy a renovation project, so I will be looking through all your stuff with interest. So pleased I can find out more here. Singing ‘Dey oh’….

My boys are outside boys too. With the same, either a football, bmx, skateboard or scooter!!!! Fighting one minute than all out war the next.
Footy has just been cancelled today for us as it has been pouring rain for a couple of days now!!!!!
We really have had no luck with building a house and this shocking weather.
The excavator is ment to be on site Monday to start to dig the pool.
So our weekend will be a rainy one. Gaby (even though I got her two A reserve tickets yesterday still wants to try for $399 sound check ones today at 10am when one direction tickets go on sale AGAIN ) man! It is so bloody crazy have a teenage daughter who thinks about these boys every minute of her day.
Have a great week end

This brings back memories… my three would rather lie around in bed all day these days, then stay up all night listening to music and playing online games. But I remember when they’d bounce out of bed and be out in the back yard on the trampoline or kicking a ball or chasing the dog before I had my eyes open.
Little boys have so much energy. I wish we could syphon off the excess – it would come in handy. 🙂

Enjoy it while you can, when my boys were little they were always playing outside. I miss that. xT

I have just started my very own blog!!! Yes im very excited to become a blogger, after following yours and many others for so long now!
It’s raining here in WA so it’s the perfect opportunity not to feel guilty about sitting inside and working out how the blogging world works.
Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Yes, boys will be boys! My lot do the same thing, scooters one week, skate boards the next, then onto the BMX’s and now the surfing! It never ends.
I was there at last years broken arm incident. Cruise laid on one of the best tackles I’ve seen in junior footy, it is just very bad luck that your little man came off second best. He is one tuff little boy! I bet he can’t wait to get back on the paddock!
Have fun at the skate park!
Have a great day.
