Do you print your photos?

My middle kiddie has come home from school this week with 2 separate books which require 'photos' to be physically stuck to the pages. Not just one photo, but about 4-5 on each. And I'm in a flap about it. I don't print my photos. I take photos daily, and a I save them, but …

And I’m in a flap about it.

I don’t print my photos. I take photos daily, and a I save them, but I don’t have any in my hands!

I live VERY digitally (if you hadn’t guessed!). I have printed a few photos here and there (like the polaroids below), but it’s not something I do often. I’ve used this site before and they’ve been great.

His teacher is a bit older and I bet she’s been asking the kids to bring in photos for years and years. Nothing wrong with that, but for me, it’s like a I have HUGE project ahead of me. It means I have to search for photos I’ve saved and go somewhere to print them.

The world is changing and do you think printed photos are becoming a thing of the past?

No I don’t and this distresses me but HOW do I catch up now??? Everything is digital now. My kids say I use FB as my personal storage… yeah, ok guilty…and my blog…but…what if that all ends tomorrow??? And then the kids come home needing copies and I have to hunt down photos and print them off. I used to be so organized in that regard….not anymore! :/

Just find the photos and email them to the teacher (or office lady if you think the teacher is to old) and get them to print them off! Delegate…..it makes your life easier!

I’m in the same camp as Michelle, my first 2 children, yup have a good stock of photos for the first few years. Along came 2 more and nothing, I have printed the odd few off my camera if I have just happened to have time. I don’t know where to start now.

I’m a bit slack with photo printing but make sure you have your digital cites backed up cause you’ll be Devo if you loose them forever. I’m constantly needing to print them for school news projects etc so much cheaper to print at the shops though,

We print photos, laminate them and frame them, we make our cards for friends and at Christmas time. Sometimes I get my kids to hold up a sign that says for instance Happy Birthday, then put it on a card to goto one of their friends. Our home printer prints out photos. I have made a sign for the front door saying do not knock if you are selling something. We love our photo printer.

I bought a little Polaroid for my wedding happy snaps and I’m finding it great to have instant photos to put in my pregnancy journal. I’ve also used picture postie for Instagram pics to make a mural too.
