Chalk Paint™ has recently released a new colour called Burgundy and I knew it would look awesome on this chair.

I gave it 2 coats of paint (the little table was sanded before I started, but you don’t have to sand things to use Chalk Paint™ – it’s got a primer in it).

Then I just sanded off some of the edges with my electric sander and used the soft wax to give it that nice matt finish.4 5 6

I will say the burgundy does look a lot darker inside the house than it did outside, so it depends where you put it. In a bright sunny spot it looks a little raspberry 🙂

Do you have a project which could use a lick of paint?

Check out all the Chalk Paint™ here and also find the nearest retailer (or buy online here).

Happy DIY-ing! ♥ KC.

katrina,I have a Pine kitchen table and chairs. I want to paint it white. Can it be done? My husband says it can’t, but I’m sure it can. Can you advise me please. Thanks.

Great results. The primer in the paint takes the labor out of an otherwise labor intense job? The end result is lovely, like the color.
